Recent trouble loading forums
For the last couple months or so I've had intermittent trouble getting into the forums. I have no trouble with the landing page or the story archives, but sometimes when I click on the link to go to the forums my browser just times out and I have to try again sometime later. Anyone else seeing this?

Re: 3year eunuch birthday TRT question
If you don't have much access to an endocrinologist, you might be better off just using testosterone cypionate for now. My boyfriend is trans, and he takes that once a week. Twice a week would probably be better for stability, but he can't be bothered.

Re: Urologist Turned Down
For what it's worth, the practice of Brownstein & Crane has a longstanding good reputation in the transgender community. If I were looking to have my genitals rearranged, I'd definitely choose one of their docs over Arnkoff. Arnkoff sounds nice, but it also sounds like he may not be the most skilled ...

Unfortunately, I am not currently able to donate. Hopefully that will change by the time the next drive comes around.

Re: So I have an appointment with a pain clinic
It sounds like the doc wants to find out where the pain is really coming from. I think this is a good thing. It could be coming from the testicle (in which case removing it is probably the best thing), or it could be coming from something near the testicle, or a nerve going to the testicle, in which ...

Re: Hi from Zurich
Welcome back! I hope you find what you seek here. However, asking on this forum for help finding cutters tends to make the moderators very grumpy. I would suggest steering clear of that topic. Asking for help finding qualified and licensed surgeons is entirely acceptable, however.

Re: Sexual orientation of EA members
I'm basing it on their own statement. How can a person in one breath say they're not homosexual and then say they want to engage in homosexual acts?
It's a contradictory statement. At the least it makes them bisexual.
Sexuality is just more complicated than that. "There are more things in ...

Re: Regrets about castration
There is a distinct philosophical difference between what is found in the forums and what is found in the stories.
Yes, and the reason for that is perfectly obvious: the stories are all (or almost all) works of fantasy. Most of the forums are about real life. These are not the same, and the ...

Re: anyone hear from Hash? extremely worried for his welfare
The question of whether someone is alive or not is not usually considered a private matter. If he is in a psych ward, on vacation, or sitting depressed in his basement, that's not necessarily any of our business. It sounds, however, like no one here actually knows him well enough to find out either ...

Re: Do you hate McAfee?
We had a lot of trouble with McAffee at work, because one of our customers put it on their machines and made a mess of things (I think it was slowing the systems down so much that various processes would time out). At home I have Fedora, which is built on SELinux. That seems to be a much more ...

Re: just joined
It's not just about sex. Hormones play all sorts of roles in the body. Some people do just fine after castration. Others sink into deep, dark, suicidal depression. Take things slowly and deliberately. Chemical castration is definitely a good idea, but don't dismiss the potential to address the ...

Even if you want to avoid chemicals in the long run, it's probably best to start with them to get a sense of how lowering your testosterone levels will affect your mood and so on.

I've noticed that Cainanite hasn't been posting new stories for a couple weeks. I got downright worried when I saw he hasn't been posting anything else either. Does anyone know if he's okay?

Re: looking for help
Remember that not everyone who comes to this site actually is or wants to be castrated. Some are or want to be with castrated people, or fantasize about being castrated, being with castrated people, or castrating people. It's a huge mix.

Re: Urethral reroute revision
The reality is that now that I have a surgical reroute and pee sitting from down below, I could band my penis at any time and not worry about not urinating. It would be simple, no blood, and I've got a lot of strong pain meds left over, but today is not the day. Maybe tomorrow.
The reality is ...

Hello
I am a MTF trans. I have been on oestrogen for 3 years. Sterlity is not an issue.
Occasionally I still masquerade as a boy but I usually end up looking pretty ambiguous. My slightly still growing A cups make it pretty hard.

Re: Orgasm after castration
Of course all the evidence we have is anecdotal, but I just recently read that only 20% of post-op transsexuals can reach orgasm. Not to mention of all the post-op transsexuals I know, none of them can orgasm. Having said that, about 40% of transsexuals have no sexual desire at all and are not ...

"To a man with a hammer, everything looks like a nail." Mark Twain
I must respond that to a man with no hammer, nothing looks like a nail. I have often seen people (generally coworkers) fail to recognize problems they don't know how to solve.
