Re: Sexual desire controllability after orchi
Up front I have to admit that a thorough understanding of the terms "sex drive", "libido" and some others has eluded me so far. I never felt a noteworthy drive or necessity to have sex (with the meaning of making use of my penis in a way that leads to ejaculation). I consider myself asexual ...

Re: Greetings from Germany!
Hi Arrowinden!
I am German, too. I've had an orchiectomy abroad in 2016 and am currently pursuing genital surgery including scrotectomy and penectomy with a German surgeon (not firmed up yet). I'd call myself more non-binary trans (agender) than eunuch/nullo, and I'm asexual, too.
I cannot advise ...

Re: Origin of Eunuch Archive
By the end of 2001, there were over 1500 members of the Eunuch Archive. Only 15 of them are still active -- those original five, plus A-1, Bella, Colin, Dave, EunuchSF, Gerslave, me, kkks, Littledick, and Losethem. The most recent new member, as I write this, is Onlooker, number 120,801.
I'm ...

Re: Origin of Eunuch Archive
This thread awakens some nostalgic feelings in me. I had a look in my comprehensive email archive and found a welcome message from Eunuch Archive Message Boards from Dec. 2005 (with a different login). And the archive search turned up an old post from that account in 2008 about tattoos. I re-joined ...

Good to read it worked out for you. Wish you a speedy recovery (the worst is probably already behind you). I hope to follow within the next years.

Re: Coming out/post op
I first came out in spring 2016 to one very special personal friend who virtually accompanied me through the whole process of getting castrated (Oct 2016) through name and civil status change (Jan 2019) and the frequent skirmishes against gender dualism up to the quest for some more non-standard ...

Re: Big problem after castration, please help!
Taking estrogen to remedy the side effects of removing testicular testosterone production is a possibility. Availability depends very much on the medical system you are in. You did say Europe, but not which country. The German system e.g. has no regulations/provisions for cases of "transness ...

Re: Osteoporosis
[Note: one should avoid oral estrogens as they increase the risk of blood clots. Taking E2 through the skin appears to be safer.]
Thanks Jesus for this good and comprehensive summary.
One thing I would like to add: According to newer trials and surveys, the risk for blood clots taking newer ...

Indeed, that is not a short noun. Please consider my posting non-existent.
For a more thorough discussion of this topic, if desirable, has anybody read or even participated in the formulation of the current WPATH SoC?

Re: Vocabulary Issue
We are talking about the WPATH Standards of Care, as far as I understood. I guess what is needed is a medical term, as neutral as possible, without social connotations etc. The least problematic terms are usually descriptive terms. This would mean in this case something like "state after total ...

Re: Do male-to-female transsexuals have sexual desires?
I can only offer my own experience.
I am asexual, and have been for all of my life (although it became completely clear to me only this year). I have never successfully masturbated, and two or three attempts of sexual intercourse as a man with a woman were somewhere between funny, mechanical and ...

Re: Modern Castration - Are There Stages?
I think the reasons for (any form of "Modern Castration") cannot be left out. There are people that do not call it castration, and there are people that do not do it to become an eunuch (or do not call themselves that). One reason for example is the transition path of a trans woman - she would not ...

Re: Castration questions, new here.
I am going to give you some answers (from my first hand experience).
But first: I share the doubts with the previous speaker. I advise you strongly: ask yourself, do you want getting castrated for yourself? You have to live with and cope with the effects for the rest of your life, not anybody else ...

Re: "I love the idea of being castrated"
A few words on BIID and transgender.
Transgender is currently used to address (or categorize) people whose sex assigned at birth does not coincide with their experienced gender (the gender they feel). This gender is of course not limited to male and female. Eunuch (or neutrois) is sometimes (or by ...

Re: What Are Implants (Fake Balls) Like?
Hi!
In advance: I do no longer consider myself male, so I'm not a guy, nor am I a thing. And, since I recently put a lot of effort in researching my biography, that is about the point where I was 19 years ago as well. So basically, I wasn't even a man before I got castrated.
Nonetheless, I am one ...
