", you should try get more information from your primary source. Even if someone told you, that at some time in the 70s there had been some castrations, that wouldn´t proof or rebut the story.

I had a catheter removed after a testicular biopsy. When it did hurt, the catheter was already out. It´s more scary than it really hurts.
