Most TG discussions I've read warn that castration to far in advance of the actual sex change operation will mean much less scrotum tissue for the surgeon to use for fashioning the vagina unless steps are taken to keep the tissues stretched. As always results may vary.

I don't think you can come up with single age that would work for everyone. There are a lot of factors that come into making this life changing discission. Some young people mature at very young age and understand the gravity of the discission others remain children in adult bodies.

Being curious and open to new things does not make a person something. Even taking actions on these thoughts to explore your feelings and to experience the results will not make you bi or gay. Most days I wear pantyhose and a long leg panty girdle. When I want to feel sexy, I wear thigh high stockings with lace tops and a garter belt topped with nylon and spandex panties. I love the feel of the snug grip on my body.
