Re: Slow steady progress towards castration

I wanted to update everyone.

I'm planning to have a T-level blood test on Wednesday. I'll have free and total testosterone levels checked. (anything else needed?)

I discussed with my wife the journey I'm starting. She was very enthusiastic and supportive, but suggested (perhaps more than suggested ...

Re: New here, and trying to... discover myself, I guess.

Addicted,

It is always difficult for young people to hear someone suggest that you be careful and wait to try something, but Bobbie's advice is particularly good here.

You are looking at a hopefully long life in front of you, and hormones can make changes that can't be undone. If you are not able ...

Re: Slow steady progress towards castration

Not much has changed since my last post. I have not gotten my t-level checked yet, but plan to do so. I am realizing that I do want some level of feminization, more that just the breast enlargement that will come from lowered t-levels. It will take time to sort this all out.

Thank you to those who ...

Re: Slow steady progress towards castration

Thank you for the response.

There is lots I don't know. I would have thought that there would be "normal" ranges for the saliva test, and those ranges would vary by age.

I will try to get my courage up to contact a Urologist. I wish there was a list of those who would be receptive!

Thanks again ...

Re: walking on egg shells

I'm new here, and when I see so many long standing, highly respected members of this caring community find something objectionable (and by the way I agree), then there is something objectionable!

I hope this thread is locked soon, and even deleted, if that is possible!

Re: Slow steady progress towards castration

Thanks, MrT for the advice on Google. I've found where I can get a Testosterone Test Kit, and will send for it in a few days.

I haven't gotten up the resolve to contact a urologist yet. I was really hoping that it would not be necessary. While I certainly want to have my testicles surgically ...

Re: Slow steady progress towards castration

Thanks, Bobbie!

I thought I had read that you can send for a Testosterone Test kit & return it by mail, but I can't find the info now. Anyone know the contact information?

Thanks!

Re: Slow steady progress towards castration

Thank you for the reply and information.

I can understand the need for both, but want to start off with the Testosterone test. Is there a lab that will do the test for me without my first getting a Dr. to prescribe the test?

I'm in the Southeast US.

Thanks!

I do want to get started, but don't ...

Re: Slow steady progress towards castration

River,

Thanks for the feedback.

I'm cautious about talking to my Doctor since so few are willing to participate in elective surgery to remove testicles. That is, of course my goal.

What are the risks if I start chemical castration without checking my t level?

Thanks!

Re: Introduction

Welcome to another new member!

I'm glad your wife is considering chemical castration before the more drastic surgical step! This way she can see if she gets the desired results without making a permanent change.

Again, welcome!

Slow steady progress towards castration

Hi,

I'm new to this group, and introduced myself a little more than a week ago.

As suggested, I've done a lot of reading, and am ready to start on chemical castration, leading to surgical castration and maybe beyond. I'm really intreagued by the smooth look, and maybe more - perhaps feminization ...

New Member

Hi,

I'm a new member and wanted to introduce myself.

I'm a 58 year-old male who is interested in chemical castration, leading up to surgical castration, and more body modification from there. I'm not sure where I'll end up, but I certainly want removal of my testicles. I'll write more in the ...
