Getting castrated in Germany is impossible unless you have already commited a crime. For prevention it will not be done. This is what the medical association (Ärztekammer) said.

I had been surgically castrated and don't take any HRT. I can still get erections if I want to (which is rarely the case). I can control this by what/how much I eat/drink (for stimulating the prostate).
