For the Eunuchs who have had an orchiectomy, Is it a challenge to find properly fitting underwear?
I am looking into getting an orchiectomy with scrotectomy, but one thing I haven't given much thought to until now is how well underwear fits without the testicles/scrotum to fill out the front. Men's underwear usually has some degree of geometry to accommodate the male bulge. Without the testicles and especially the scrotum, I assume the penis just kinda tucks downward between the legs?
I found a couple old threads here where people were talking about how they wear woman's underwear. Not sure if that's common practice among eunuchs or just a certain subset. I want be continue being masculine presenting so I'd prefer not to wear feminine looking underwear. That said, I'd prefer not to wear men's underwear that have empty crotches swimming in excess fabric..
I wear briefs probably 80% of the time and mix-in boxer-briefs/trunks 20%- predominately Calvin Klein brand but I suspect their products will fit me well if/when I become a eunuch
Do you have any underwear brands or product lines you recommend? I I would preferably more masculine but with a flatter crotch? Or are Eunuchs destined to buy womens underwear.
Thanks for your 4elp!

Well I was going to start my answer with the classic question "Boxers or Briefs"
but you sort of answered that...
Boxers probably wouldn't change the fit much since they are loose in that area anyway.... Before my surgery I was wearing FOTL (Fruit of the Loom) briefs with a 'male guard' pad due to my leakage issues. (FOTL's have the advantage of being economical, and the few times I tried fancier brands they didn't feel that much more comfortable) I was already pretty small so they weren't all that tight in the crotch anyway.
How much your
will dangle after surgery will probably depend on how big it is and how much it dangled before... Mine wasn't big enough to dangle, so it was never a problem....
I continued to use this combo for a while after surgery, but I found it let the pad gap to far away from the source and allowed leakage to escape w/o getting soaked up by the pad.... I initially tried designing a modified men's style with a drop front to allow easy pad changes but it was more of a project than I thought. In the mean time I decided to give women's a try, and bought a three pack of ladies FOTL briefs - I found they held the pad up tighter and gave me a bit more support... I now wear them all the time.
In terms of appearance - the plain white FOTLS aren't that obviously women's aside from the front difference. They are a slightly finer and tighter weave fabric, but it's still a white jersey. The waistband is narrower elastic but it isn't at all lacey or otherwise feminine.... I keep my pants up high enough that my underwear doesn't show, but my evaluation is that a person that was familiar with both and looked closely would be able to tell, but at a casual glance they don't look enough different to be screamingly obvious...

I primarily wear boxer briefs and ya they definitely got a bit roomier without my balls but I haven't felt the need to change things up. I still have a penis so having some pouch is more comfortable than none at all. I don't think I'd even notice a difference in fit wearing nomal boxers. Not to be too crass but if you're well endowed in the penis department you'll definitely want to still have underwear with a pouch even after getting castrated.

Re: Men's Underwear as a Eunuch - Does it Fit?
Generally I'm wearing woven boxers if I'm wearing underwear at all. These are the empty shorts I'm most proud of. They fit and feal great. Nothing beats an unfinished basement.
For active wear (I cycle and gym a lot), I'll usually wear a PAPI thong. PAPI undershorts get dissed by really hung guys because they form a very shallow pouch causing their junk to routinely fall out. In my case they hug the contours of my lack of junk and fit and feel great.
