It started out as just an odd sensation of presence. Most men go through life never giving their testicles a second thought, until something happens to them. Mine felt odd all the time. Then they started to ache after a year or so. The doctors checked for cancer. Nothing. They treated for infection. Didn't stop the ache. After another year or so, it got worse (pain level about 2-3 on a scale of 10). It wasn't until my wife started asking me how 'the boys' were, that I realized how much it affected my life. That's when I got serious about getting some kind of treatment.
A research study from the University of Hawai‘i is now open for participation.
