I wanted to step in and clarify the decision that has been made.

First and foremost, this forum is strictly for users aged 18 and over.

We do not perform age verification, nor do we intend to make it a requirement. Because of this, any account that is confirmed or reasonably suspected to belong to someone under 18 must have access removed following review.

In this case, the user has confirmed they are 16 years old, and based on that confirmation the account has been temporarily banned until the user reaches 18 years of age.
The account has not been deleted, but access will remain restricted until the age requirement is met.

This forum contains adult discussions and content, which are restricted to users 18+ with no exceptions.
This is a compliance and safety decision, not a judgement of the individual.

I also want to address comments made about our Lead Moderator, Wheely.
There is no bias involved. Wheely acted appropriately by gathering the relevant information so the Admin and Moderator teams could review the situation and make a decision together. I stand fully behind the team.

The user was also asked to stop sending private messages and to keep discussion on the forum. This request was ignored, which contributed to the decision to proceed with a ban.

With this matter now addressed, I would like us to move forward. We are open to welcoming Kohl back once they turn 18, but until then the account will remain banned.

First I just want to say thank you to all of the hard work for trying to keep the community as a whole safe. Usually you get the complaints and not much of the kudos.

Second, I was very apprehensive about supporting any research for anybody that just popped up and was pressing hard for information (almost whining for it). I'm very new to the community and as little I've shared here, I've shared even less with most of my family and friends. Just not really interested in being a source of fascination for random folks who are searching for whatever purposes.

I see this site as a valuable resource for many on whatever stage of the journey they are on.

ya know WheelyFixed, I respect that you will ban me due to my age and not my opinions and facts that you disagree with. I think that is decent, and I think that shows you have a great deal more respect than some people like puck_, as a moderator should. Maybe you're not as awful and disappointing and annoying and pariah-ish as I thought you were thanks for the fun WheelyFixed.

Sorry to burst your bubble. They do not work very hard to keep the community safe. I got unbanned after calling them pariahs. You can enter their chatroom without an account, making an account is... well, obviously easy, and the moderation team is... well, pretty lackluster, inferior, bad, poor, awful, I think ya get the point.

Bubble still intact. I think the word phrase that applies here is pretty tolerant as opposed to the others you've selected. Ive seen other forums (not this topic though), where any pot stirring gets the boot right off the bat.

You and I see things very differently.

Paul / Kole has now been banned, at least unless there is a technical problem. He may be able to read, but is not allowed to post.

Last one who got annoying enough in chatroom ended up on a half-a-year vacation from chatroom (and no, it is still ongoing and his second one). You can change names, but you can't change behaviour style, it seems.

PS. Yes. we do not verify age, but rules on entrance are clear. If you do not like them and are stupid enough to enter and openly break them - you will be chased by moderation team. If you make big enough annoyance of yourself there to warrant complaints and looking in the logs (and yes, there are logs) - you have annoyed moderators enough to invest time in chasing and banning you.
PPS. You are young enough to not see or remember older internet. Back in pre-"social network" days there was only one community rule that was universal over whole internet. YOU. DO. NOT. ANNOY. MODERATORS.
