Today I was welcomed home with a card from all the great folks at the San Diego MoM. Thank you all and I look forward to seeing you all next time. Many hugs to you all.

I too received today a card in the mail from those at the San Diego MoM. Thank you all! If there is any way possible, I will be there next year.

Yup, a sister had to be around to protect the girls from a wolf

i just wanted to say thanks to the people that put the mom together and contributed. Because of work i was only able to make it for one night. one great night. i finally got to meet some of the people i talk all the time. when i was first introduced to everyone i was pretty nervous just because i was meeting so many new people and i rarely go out anymore. i met tom first and shook macwolfs superhero hand. i met jema and it was weird but my first instinct was to hug jema. i didnt do it tho i was still anxious. inside i finally met plix and we sat with ken. plix was really quite nice, good to meet someone young who knows what im going thru kinda. Jesus bought us pizza and i stoked the good meaty pizza got put at my table and not the crappy veggie one. i sat and conversed with ken, plix, jesus. Sam2 was there also. they were all really interesting. i didnt really get to know all the people there because we sat at close but separate tables. after dinner i went back to jesus and mac's room but we were the only ones there. i was hoping everyone else would come back to the room but they went somewhere else. i wanted to talk to jema more because even tho we disagree on pretty much everything on here i thought jema was really cool in person. i dont usually drink wine but tom offered me some so i obliged. 99% of the time i think wine tastes like bad...duck... butter. but this wine was like smoked... bacon love. so good. anyway i sat and talked with jesus and mac for another hour or so as i watched mac wolf down some some sugar free cookies then i called it a night.
thanks to plix, ken, jesus and anyone else who contributed to my good time.

A special thank you to everyone for the card. It really pained both of us to not be there. We love being a part of the MoM's. We love working together to host them. It met so much to get this card. Thank you everyone.

Opening the card from the MOM was rather hard and felt very strange. First time being on the receiving side of the card. It was a feeling I did not like. The MOM's are very important to me in many ways. Not being present just did not feel right. But as it was pointed out that the MOM's are for all the people in the archive. Others need to organize a MOM.
Thanks Plix and Ken for being the host for this MOM. Jesus and MacWolf hosted the hotel event. It was a great MOM for what all have said. All of the new members I am sure left with a feeling that they are part of a group of great and caring people that accept them for who and what they are. They came to the MOM a little scared but went home with new friends. That is the way it is when you attend a MOM.
