Never tried it, and can't now, but I'm told it is surprisingly less painful than you'd expect... The claim is that the testicles don't have a lot of the nerves inside that give pain messages, and the idea is that you essentially poke into the ball at one point and then only stir the inside, so you don't trigger the other nerves on the outside... Or at least that is my understanding, but I have never looked at it in any detail.

I looked it up as well and apparently the only painful part is the poking with the needle. I'll need to look it up further. a single "stirring" session isn't enough it seems and one would need to do it many times over a long period of time to actually get castrated. and I assume you'd need to do it twice per testicle?WheelyFixed wrote: Tue Jun 03, 2025 5:24 pm Never tried it, and can't now, but I'm told it is surprisingly less painful than you'd expect... The problem is that it's just people saying stuff. I couldn't find actual scientific proof that it won't be as painful as one would expect (Which is very) so if you could look it up as well I'd be grateful

You won't find any scientific proof as to whether it's less painful than you would expect, nor do I suspect you'll find much about its effectiveness. I never stirred or did alcohol injections when I still had my testicles so I can't really attest to how either feel but I had done several play piercing sessions where needles were driven into or through my testicles. What I can say from that experience is that it seems possible that the claims about it being less painful than expected are true. In my experience the most painful part of sticking a needle into a testicle is surprisingly at the very start when you're pushing it through the skin of the scrotum. During that step you feel that sharp stinging pain you would expect from sticking a needle into yourself, after it's through the skin you just feel pressure on the testicles themselves until it punctures through the outer wall. Once the needle is inside I remember feeling basically no pain as it worked its way through the interior of the testicle until it reached the other wall at which poin I would feel more pressure. It's a very odd sensation and hard to describe.
Now that being said I would encourage anyone considering this to proceed with caution, I don't know exactly what sort of internal structure is going on inside a testicle but I have some doubts that any DIY castration methods are particularly safe. Infection would be my biggest concern, but bleeding may be a risk too.

You won't find ANY 'scientific proof' as this is not a procedure that has any medical reason that can't be accomplished more easily in other ways... An MD would have no reason to stir your testicles when he could simply remove them... Also any sort of medical procedure that would be likely to cause significant pain is going to be done w/ anesthesia.... All I can say is that EVERY report I've seen about sticking needles into one's balls for any reason says that it doesn't hurt except going in or out as Sakebigoe just described...Mimi wrote: Tue Jun 03, 2025 9:55 pm The problem is that it's just people saying stuff. I meant proof as in testicles having little nerves or something. I know that this isn't something that would be done by a doctor since they can just cut it.WheelyFixed wrote: Wed Jun 04, 2025 1:59 amYou won't find ANY 'scientific proof' as this is not a procedure that has any medical reason that can't be accomplished more easily in other ways... I don't know that there is going to be any explicit papers on the nerves and such, but if you can find an advanced anatomy text it should be described... However does it really matter the reason given the description of what the experience is?
