UPDATE:
I am VERY sleepy all day
still walk 4km a day with my boss but my calves burn from exhaustion.
I had my first hot flush today.
My libido is down to about 40%. Hope it goes down much more.
I hope Hash is right in that these side effects will go away soon.

UPDATE:
I feel much better today. Not sleepy at all! No hot flashes either.
My left knee hurts. Must be the stress of my daily quick walks with my boss. I must take it easier in the beginning. I must build myself gradually to fitness. My knees must support 130kg so running will damage it. Hope my boss understands.
Problem is...if you guys remember...I joined the Navy and are on 6 month probation. I must be 97kg to become permanent. So, my boss pushes me hard to loose weight because he really wants me to work there.
Later...
P.S. On the other hand, my knee might pain from too much praying!

UPDATE:
All my stitches has been absorbed by my body now. I get warm sometimes, but don't experience true hot flushes yet.
My libido is real low by now. Generally, I feel very well.

Well if you're getting the same weather like we do up here, with the wind and the cold, I'm sure you'd appreciate the occasional hot flash.

Hey, in terms of weight loss exercise has very little to do with it. Diet is much more important. It is a common mistake for people to think that exercise is the key, but it isn't. Exercise can have other benefits (feels good, builds strength, diffuses stress), but not in weight loss.
I'm an expert on this as I have lost 80 lbs (from 290 down to 210) since September, and my wife lost 60 lbs (from 200 down to 140) in same amount of time. I have always been very active, usually one of the strongest guys in the gym. However, I was always soft and overweight. It turns out it had nothing to do with my effort, it was purely eating too much (and the wrong things). I finally figured it out.
The reality is that the body is very (too) efficient at storing food, which historically was a good thing but unfortunately food is abundant in our modern society. For example, if you do vigorous exercise on a treadmill at the gym for 60 minutes you only burn 500 calories. A handful of chips is more than 500 calories! I am 210 lbs and still very active and only eat 2200 calories a day, instead of the typical 3400 that average larger guy eats.
Even more important is your body stores fat based on insulin levels and these are spiked by carbohydrates. If you want to get skinny without general starvation, then you need to go extremely low carb. Carbs are responsible for the prevalence of diabetes and obsesity. There are doctors and studies now that show that you should essentially consider carbs as toxic.
So definitely count your calories. I recommend using the online tool at
http://caloriecount.about.com/ which I use every day. First of all it counts the calories and analyzes the nutrition. It is most effective though if you PLAN your eating for the day in advance -- then you don't take any chances with overeating.
In terms of low/no carb, it means that you NEVER eat rice, potatoes, bread, cereal or sugar. It is a little difficult at first if you're used to eating those things, but after a while it gets pretty easy. Instead of a sandwich, just eat the meat and cheese like cold cuts. For breakfast have the eggs but no toast or hashbrowns (and especially no cereal). Note that large amounts of fruit or fruit juice are really bad -- the carbs and fructose have huge glycemic load (meaning it spikes your insulin). Never drink orange or apple juice. I think it okay to have one raw orange or apple a day, but I even stay away from that. The only fruit I eat regularly is one banana and a cup of raw blueberries.
I assume you eat alone, so the best thing is to simply not buy carbs or allow them in the house. Once you have potato chips in the house, it is too tempting to snack on them. But I find if they're not there, then I don't miss them that much.
Note that in low carb diets you don't need to avoid fat particularly. In other words, it is better to eat a sausage than cereal for breakfast. The only thing with fat to watch out for is that it has the most calories and so you need to count the calories (like with the tool mentioned above).
Anyway, I don't know what your current weight is, but if your target is 215lbs then I suggest you aim for 2200 calories. That's what I eat and am maintaining at 210lbs. I am still muscular and energetic and can exercise hard. So you really don't need any more calories than that.
I hope that helps!

Hi Yoda,
I think that if you're not already taking some high energy vitamins, you might give some thought to it. As a eunuch, with low low testosterone, I take a stronger than normal multi-vitamin, I use L-Arginine, niacin (don't use the no flush, my doctor said the no flush niacin doesn't do anything for you). I use the regular niacin and it does cause a mild flush, but it's really beneficial, especially for eunuchs who can pack on a lot of fat and who have high cholesterol. I also take a lot of fish oil soft gels. I can't remember the dosage and I'm at the New Jersey beach this week, so I don't have the labels to look at, but anyway, my regimen of vitamins has helped me a lot over the last few years. It's been a test this, try this, method to get to where I'm at, a lot of vitamins are really a waste of money, so check things out thoroughly. Hash

Greetings SD! Thank you for such excellent advise. I tell you, I've been loosing faith in this modern diet theory which has been preached to us now for decades. I live in an old age home and I tell you, these old people live longer because they used to eat like our forefathers did. They were/are farmers (boere) and are used to eat sheep chops, liver, chicken pies, vegs, red wine, turkey with pork fat etc. It is OUR generation (who lives on bottled vitamins (apologies Hash, although I do take extra calcium and cod oil), low fat, high carbs) that gets diabetes, cancer (greater frequency and younger age) and heart disease. And, when they ate suger, on mashed pumpkin, pancakes etc, they would include cinnamon, which retards sugar absorption in the gut. These old folks knew a lot of secrets using herbs. I also trust God for better health and bless the food I eat. After all, He is the One who created our bodies to consume part of His creation!

I have lost 13Kg (28.5) since my penectomy in February.
The walking is to strengthen my heart and make me more fit. I gasp for air after 1 km of walking!
I have acquaintance who fixes musical instruments. He was a diabetic and went on this high-fat, low-carb diet. He lost 30kg (70 pounds) in a few months and is keeping the weight off on this diet. He also told me that he eats no suger, cakes, bread, rice, potatoes and other carbs. instead, he eats 3 fried eggs, one pack of bacon, baked beans and mushrooms, coffee with cream for breakfast, steak with fat for supper. I can't remember what he eats for lunch, though. He is cured of diabetes and looks great!
It's working for me as well. Hope to reach my goal in time, though.
Keep well and my the LORD bless you and your wife.
Peace...

UPDATE:
I week, or so ago, I rubbed my 'fluffy' (pee-hole) on my bed because there are still orgasmic muscle contractions that spooks me every day (I think it's the newly exposed urethra that must still get used to it's greater exposure. The piece that was cut off, had YEARS of abuse). Anyway, I rubbed my fluffy on my bed and after 5 minutes I had a huge orgasm. I felt so bad because I though that removing my junk will disable my sexual abilities. I thought that by stopping T, my little stump will diminish away, which did happen, but those contractions spooks me 24 hours a day. It's those muscles that contracts when one orgasms. Many times I wake in the morning with a HUGE erection in that little stump. The stump feels like it will BURST with pressure. I think I must go see my surgeon again to remove it.

The stump is only about 1 1/2 cm long.
Regards...

I cook with virgin uncompressed unrefined coconut oil
I must be doing something right eh?...........
One has to consume the good fat inorder to lose fat.
Nuts, lean meats(I prefer steamed chicken), brown rice ,avocado, olive oil
etc.....the list goes on
Coconut oil is very useful in reducing weight. It contains short and medium-chain fatty acids that help in taking off excessive weight. It is also easy to digest and it helps in healthy functioning of the thyroid and enzymes systems. Further, it increases the body metabolism by removing stress on pancreases, thereby burning out more energy and helping obese and overweight people reduce their weight. Hence, people living in tropical coastal areas, who eat coconut oil daily as their primary cooking oil, are normally not fat, obese or overweight.
it sure is expensive to buy the right brand and type.It must be virgin.
But exercise is still essential. It stimulates the production of insulin from the thyroid. And drinking water helps break down complex white cell fat bonds.

Yoda,
In time, with no external testosterone, I believe sexual feelings wiill quietly fade. You might want to wait a few months before seeing the good doctor again.
Also, I agree that the church today is, should be, must be, more than a social club. However, the reality is that some are more like social clubs because God's whole truth is not being taught. Without the gospel, the salvation that Christ brings, the Holy Spirit working in and through each believer, there is no spiritual life and the church becomes a social club. For the church to be effective and alive believers must live what they believe. For to me to live is Christ, to die, is gain. You are my brother Yoda if you believe in Christ.

Thanks Hash...the honor is mine. Jesus said that if only TWO people gather in His name, He would be there...that's a church.
Finding the right sort is very hard because today's churches, in general, preach to itching ears, are controlled by businessmen (MAMMON), there is pride, envy, rich people are more important, the church HURTS people causing them to reject Christ, the churches LEAKS all of our Kingdom secrets out over international TV. The unbelievers BLASPHEME God for all the 'NONSENSE' shown on these channels. Most churches now prays for healing for money. The churches evade taxes by giving a 'gift' (books, videos, jewelry, cd, etc) for YOUR seed (gift). There is no taxes on gifts in church. This is no more the extortion. LYING to get money. The dark angel "Mammon" has truly invaded the church.
Where can I find the humble, selfless, cross-bearing, praying, meek, the least-person-being-the greatest-person, giving without expecting a reward back, true loving, rejecting-this-world-and-it's-passions, brothers.
AAAaaaanyway...I'll take your advice and wait a while before I take my surgeon by the throat for aggressive gospel negotiations! I don't feel so bad this time around without T. My libido IS down about 60% already, though I want it down to 0%.
Hey, bud, it's 01:03 am and I must drive 40km to the Navy everyday, so I must go sleep. I wake up and 6:00 am. Please chat again.
Blessings to you from the Holy Spirit. May He rain His joy over you.
Regards...my brother in Christ!

Good, you're doing the right thing. Yeah, diabetes is definitely closely linked to our high carb diets. Low carb (and fairly high fat) can actually leave you fully satisfied (not hungry like regular diets) and still have the weight come off, and also reverse diabetic symptoms.
Cheers!

I go with the south beach diet. High on good fats, good protein and good low glycemic carbs.
I'd be a little careful with going full on fat and protein only.
The Atkin's diet isn't exactly healthy.
Run the risk of kidney stones, accelerated ketone produce(when body need nourishing it feeds on ketones rather than glucouse), high blood pH levels and
dehydration.
Everything in moderation I say:)

Hi Hash! Goodness, I've been VERY busy lately. Our unit (The Navy), have traveled quite a lot in the past few weeks. We've been to the Oyster Festival in Knysna (The Navy received the 'Key to the City') as well as Umtata, where we did a HUGE parade for the president. It was Mandela week, or something. We're going to East London, Caledon and Pretoria in the next few months.
I must confess that after joining the Navy, I'm so tired in the evening that I hardly chat to folks on my favorite forums.
It's going well with me. I got some SERIOUS hot flushes, extreme tiredness and short term memory loss, so I decided a few days ago to inject 2cc of 'T'. I feel a little better although my libido is still down! I'm still very happy being a nullo. I don't miss my penis at all. I did, however, get a little irritation from shower gel getting into my eurethra when showering. I am more carefull now to prevent soap from getting in too far. I have lost weight!!! From 145Kg to 125Kg so far. I will post pics on Tribe when the appropriate time comes.
I hope that it goes well with you and all my brothers here. I DO drom in at time but are too lazy to say something. Maybe if the 'T' kicks in properly, I'll be more energetic to write.
God bless you all!!
P.S. I'm very pleased to receive email from you at times to inquire about me. Keep well

Hello Mac and Friends,
It's been a while because I'm EXTREMELY busy lately.
It is well with me. I've lost a few kilos. My wound is completely healed. I'm taking 2cc 'T' every 3 weeks just to keep energized. My libido is low.
Although my goal is to be 'sexless' and 'asexual' it still strikes me at times when I look into a mirror or feel 'down there' that my penis and testicles are gone. It's not panic...more excitement. I really LOVE being a nullo. I have orgasmed a few times (when I really cannot control my desire). Although I could orgasm after my penectomy, it was kind of hard to do, but, now that I'm healed, I can orgasm in 2 minutes! I always thought that after a penectomy orgasm will be almost impossible, an idea which scared me should I regret being penectomized. But not remembering having ever had penis and the fact that I can still orgasm, IF I wanted, makes me extremely happy to be a nullo. I have control now over my sexuality and NOT some crazy hormone.
So Mac, are you a nullo yet?
Ok, back to work for me!
I'll keep in touch.
God bless you all.

Hi guys, it's been a while again. My work rush will end soon, so I chat a bit more then.
I'ts going well with me. I'm completely healed and still love it being a nullo. I truly cannot remember at all what it used to feel like to have genitals.
I'm seriously considering returning to the hospital t remove that little stump and roots in November. That stump really irritates me a lot!
I'm on 3cc T every month just to keep memory, strength and hot flashes at bay. My libido is low!
Until later...
