Thank you Nick for introducing yourself and also for giving eunuch2001 and kristoff the opportunity for allowing us to add our flag to our post which is great for those in the UK, Germany, Australia and USA but where is the EU flag or the French one (we have a strong french community. It would be nice to see a few more flags so that we show our own solidarities. I do realise that it could get out of hand if you had to cover all the global flags, but adding those from the main readership nationalities would be cool and equitable.

Maybe it's time to attempt another gathering somewhere in the UK....
Three years ago, Thefraj organized a gathering in Southport with several members saying that they would attend. He set up his house for a proper BBQ in the back and had all the food and drink ready for the group. No one showed up!
Two years ago Nicholas was well along in arranging a gathering in Sheffield when the floods took out his house and sent him to the hospital. The gathering was, of course, cancelled.
Is there anyone who'd like to take on the task of trying to organize a gathering this year? It's not quite as difficult to gather eunuchs as it is to herd cats, though it is close.
I've been to most of the US MoMs and they are great fun. Putting faces to all of the names and being able to talk freely with everyone in sight about the subjects that we post here.

Hi all from North London.
I know that this will always be a taboo subject and has been discussed probably many times before, but I would love to meet someone who is interested in freeing me from my unused and unwanted part of my body.
I don't want any hormone or chemical treatment, because I want to experience headrush that comes with the pain from the ultimate sacrafice.
Then and only then will I be able to live the rest of my life in happiness.

O.K., enough chattering about how much fun it would be to meet some of your fellow Archive members in person. I've been to several of the U.S. MoMs - they're great fun.
NOW, we need someone to take on the actual task of organizing a gathering. Since is looks as if there may be a critical mass of EA members in the London area, that is probably the best place for a first MoM, though if someone not in London would like to be first, that would certainly work.
ONE PERSON needs to decide on an appropriate gathering place and choose the date. The place needs to be relatively quiet, reasonably private, and able to accommodate the entire group easily. On this side of the pond, we've met in public parks and private homes. Food and drink need to be available, though conversation will be the most important part of the gathering. The date should be set (and advertised) at least three weeks in advance to allow everyone to plan for the gathering.
Only the date and city should be posted in a notice on Eunuch Central (the most visited board). A contact name for Private Messages (the organizer) needs to be specified. That person should give out exact time and place only to recognized members of the community. There are far too many trolls who read the Archive to make a public statement of the exact location, though KenSD and Plix did post signs with arrows directing us to the picnic location in a public park in San Diego.
About 500,000 unique IP addresses access the Archive each month! Only about 3,500 have registered as members.
You'll all have a great time. I wish I could be there.
