So many time in life there is a vast difference between something that's a possibility and something that's real. It's one thing for a eunuch to talk with his wife about her being serviced by a male and something else to actually give her that good bye kiss as she rushes off to keep the appointment.

What does a eunuch do and think about when his wife is on "date night" or what ever you want to call? And what does he say when she returns, "How was it? Did you have fun."
