I've been refreshing these pages for days in hopes of a positive update. I'm happy to know you got through surgery Okay and hope your recovery is twice as fast as your last surgery. I'm looking for further updates on your blog, as to how you feel going fwd. I'm curious if your doctor will raise your estrogen dose any time soon. I'm so glad you're doing well. Congratulations, again.

He came through the surgery OK, according to his blog. So I guess you know as much as we do. I'm sure he'll surface when he's ready, I do look forward to an update when he does.

Thanks for the patience guys and sorry for being incognito these past few weeks but I've felt like warmed over dog poo after the surgery. Healing is progressing but still a few weeks to go before I can resume normal activities. I just posted an update on the blog and will get some photos of "the new me" uploaded soon.

Thank you for the update. You take the time to continue healing. It's good to hear your thoughts about your transition into the new you. I'm glad to know your wife is happy. She's a lucky lady and you are lucky, too. Congratulations and thanks, again.

Folks come and go. From his last blog entry he seems o.k. and is starting to go about his daily life as a nullified male. We're happy to have him here and participating on his own schedule. For some, when they reach their goal, there's not much more to say. That's o.k. by me, and like you am hoping he is recovering well and life is good.

It's been a month since Sean's last update.

Has anyone heard how he's doing?

I hope everything is Okay.

Previously, here (on the forum) Seathomas invited to visit his personal Eunuch Blog

I hope that Sean will continue to update his blog and report on his well being.

I think he put a lot of thought into his decision from all he posted. I think that if he was having regrets, he would share them. I hope he and his wife are healthy and well.

I just looked at Sean's Blog page, he has some recent updates. He is recovering from a stroke unfortunately. You can look at the link in the above post by Varery_V to read Sean's blog.

Very sorry to see the message about having a stroke, I hope he recovers well....

I'm not surprised about his comment in the last entry about changing his mind about giving up sex if he could walk again... I sort of went through the same deal myself, and there is some significant research in the SCI community on the subject.

Most relevant was a survey of SCI folks that had were more than a couple of years post-injury. They were basically asked if they could get ONE function back, what would they pick. The quads first choice was hand and arm function, the rest of the choices ranked the same for both paras and quads.

1. Normal Bladder and bowel function control...

2. Sex

3. Walking

So it sounds like Sean has reached the usual conclusion. I also agree that Physical Therapists have an aspect of sadism - I've always joked with the ones I've had to work with that their proper uniform involves thigh-high boots, fishnet stockings and a corset.... (in black of course) 😄

A lot of people think it's the job of the Physical Therapist to make them better, it's not! They are there to give you the tools to make yourself better. Some people just don't get it that recovery could be the hardest job they will ever do!

I've had to re-learn walking skills twice, the first time at 50 and the second time at 60. I knew the only person that was going to make recovery happen was the person looking back at me when I brush my teeth.

Oh, I agree completely, but that doesn't change their outfit any... After all in any sort of BDSM kind of activity the person on the receiving end IS consenting....

I read his message dated September 1st, 2022:

Change Of Heart

http://eunuchlife.blogspot.com/?zx=9086bbbef170cd2c

He has serious complications from the operation, but he is holding on.

I read the most recent entries on Sean Thomas' blog, and he did not make such a connection. Indeed, he suffered a stroke, but he did not say that his operation caused the stroke. I wish him well in his recovery.
