Does that mean you will be putting your trailer in my yard about Thursday noon? Good, I will need a ride to the good nuns.

I will be having some biscuits and gravy on Friday morning for those that are around.

Pancakes are still on for Saturday.

Hi kristoff,

Please include both me and Danya in your head count for the Thursday night festivities. I wouldn't think of missing it!

Everything is set at our end, the only thing left is for the manager to cut up that tree limb that fell where we put the tent. Its been down for a couple weeks and he is going to get right on it. He came by once with a little saw, then realized the limb that fell is about 20" at the base of the tree, bring on the chain saws 😄 there is a half of cord of wood.

The only thing that was harmed was the picnic table,🙋 yep it landed right on top of it. It may need a couple new legs.

Looking forward to seeing everybody again this summer,:D

Just think of it.... Attendance at the MoM can get you a view of "Darth & Dishes!"

MoMs are always a great and relaxing time spent among friends. For any who have never attended before and are thinking about attending this next one, you will find that there are real people behind all of the screen names here. They are a very diverse and very friendly crew. I hate to miss a MoM

A letter went out to all people that I have on my list that are planning to attend the MOM. You should receive it from [email protected] on June 25. If you did not receive it please send me an e-mail. DO NOT POST HERE

If you are interested in attending there is time to still join. Just send me an e-mail to me and I can add you to the list. As you have read the other postings it is a great time to meet people from this site. This is the Fourth year we are having the Midwest MOM.

Though it's only a rumor, those who know these things say the Dark Lord will not only be doing the dishes but, while doing them he'll be wearing a " chicken suit."

Seeing that alone is worth attending the MOM.

Being with people who don't think about, talk about, dwell on sex, male, female, trans, having it, loosing it, changing it, etc. would be a great social event. Not male, not female, physically, mentally, or emotionally; just a completely non-sexed, non-sexual human being. Has potential in my book. You could finally get down to knowing the person without all the social sexual hangups, rules, expecttions, differences. Neither male or female; not eunuch nor trans. Just a sexless human being. Sounds great. But how would we wear our hair and dress without falling into the same M/F confines. ?

I am Tome and don't have to relate to any particular hangup or care what people think of me. Usually what I think what people think of me is wrong anyway.

This Eunuch of 5 years is enjoying life on lifes terms one day at a time.

This will be my 3rd MOM :)

No one has come up with a dress code for an eunuch life style that I know of. Think most of us eunuch's dress any way we please to. I have my own style which is what I like. It is not a fashion statement. Any type of cloths that are acceptable in public is OK with us. The event is is public.

For all of the newcomers to the Archive, MoM stands for Meeting of Members, and it is a social gathering of any and all registered members of the Eunuch Archive community who care to attend. Bobbie has been the Social Director for most of the MoMs, including those in the Minneapolis area (as the August one will be) and a couple in Wisconsin and one in Washington DC. KenSD organized one in San Diego last year. I organized one in Portland, Oregon a few years ago. A couple of semi-spontaneous MoMs have popped up at the house of Mac-the-Wolf near Los Angeles.

Central features of the Minneapolis MoM will include a BBQ at the convent, hosted by the good sister, a BBQ at Talula's place, a breakfast of Riverwind's world-famous pancakes (two doors down the street from Talula's), a night out at the "Hog Trough," an all-you-can eat (and inexpensive) place where they give us a room in back and all of the kids keep peeking through the open door to see who's having so much raucous fun. (Paolo and the good sister usually square off with light saber and foam darts....)

The dates this year run from BBQ at the convent on the evening of Thursday, August 6 through the pancake breakfast on the morning of Sunday, August 9. If any of the members would like to join us for any or all of the festivities, drop a <Private Message> to Bobbie and he will let you know the exact time and place. Details are not otherwise posted publicly, though anyone who's a registered member here is invited.

For anyone worried about the strangeness of all of us, I can assure you that there's no "show and tell," and other than obviously enjoying each other's company, we all look like a group of people who are just having a good time in public.

I don't know, show and tell in the Sister's garage was pretty enlightening - especially that big saw.

It's CONSTRUCTION season in the north country. All rooms at the motel where Paolo and I have stayed for previous MoMs will be filled with construction workers. Instead, I've booked a room at another motel nearby. The rooms are a bit smaller (but in a much newer facility) and they are also considerably cheaper. I've worked a deal with them that anyone who uses my name when they register should get $10 per night off the regular rate.

Since the prices are lower, I've booked the "Executive Suite" for our Friday afternoon wine and cheese. It will run from 3:00 until we leave for the "Hog Trough" for Friday dinner.

For all who plan to attend, send a <Private Message> to either me or to Bobbie for details on the new place. I look forward to seeing everyone on Friday, August 7. There will be food and drink and camaraderie.
