I am so looking forward to this years MOM, I just wish I did not need to travel so far to get there.
I will again be cooking Pancake breakfast for everyone Saturday morning.
I do hope the weather is better but you never know in this area. Last year it poured the whole weekend and everybody left saying that they would be back this year and I can't wait to see you all again.
I do have space for one travel trailer in my front yard as I did last year and couch space for one.
This is going to be so much fun this year.

Prince is Bobbie's Eunuch cat. And yes he will be there, too. After all, he is a Eunuch also.

ok ummm is there gonna be alot of wierd stuff going on there, well thats a givin but alot of people have profiles with graphic pictures, im not gonna be around alot of nudity am i?
Absolutely nothing weird happened last time.
You'll be perfectly safe in our company.
For the curious, NO there will be no covert castrations or blatant nudity or orgies. (Do that on your own time!):dong:
Wait a minute, or was there? I might have missed it.
I was somewhat distracted.
Well...there were some frightened people at the buffet when we descended upon it. I think the flashing / sound-making light saber had something to do with all that. There were a few nervous folks after that escapade. Some of us did do our best to keep the night clerks at the hotel entertained.
A few of the things that went on, at least that I was party to:
1. Cookout at the Convent
2. Several runs to the grocery/liquor stores
3. Brunch at the Mother Ship - an all day thing
4. Barhopping (not everyone went)
5. A tour (by the Sister) of local sex emporiums.
6. The restaurant already mentioned above.
7. A recording session with Talula on the history of the Archive.
8. A trip to the Mall of Death, but with a very good meal
Did I leave anything out?

There may have been a few nervous adults, watching a set of seemingly grown-up folks having too much fun in public. I think that half of the kids in the restaurant would have joined us, if their parents would have let them. I saw lots of wide and interested eyes watching us.
You did leave out the afternoon gathering in the room that we shared. Beer, wine, cheese, crackers, and great conversation.
The keys to the gathering are talk and hugs. It really does seem like a large extended family who see each other far too seldom.

If you have ever been on vacation and thought it will be so good to be home. At a MOM you will think you are home and with your closest family. When it is time to leave you will be a little sad. Just keep in mind there will be another.

I don't know about you guys but some of my family things are DEAD DULL. A MOM at least the part I was at is far more entertaining.
Well I love my MOM more but....
Glad there won't be any do it yourself castrations performed. Humm.... "Performed" as in - on stage? Ladys and gentlemen (and Eunuchs) the great Garbanzo will not make a testicle vanish before your very eyes!
Kabam! Wow! Now the Great Garbanzo (Or would this be someone like Dr Reed or?) will saw a lady in half. No wait better yet Mr Smith will get into the casket of doom and have his guy stuff sawed off and then appear as Miss Smith!
THAT I would pay to see as long as it wasn't a musical...

I am glad we are not doing a musical this year. Castration did not help my singing voice and the only thing worse than my singing is my dancing. Maybe I could usher folks to their seats.
Minneapolis is the place you want to be
So they loaded up the eunuchs
And went to the Twin Cities

. Of course, maybe they don't let those dead folks ever leave the stores. Then there may be the people who can never find their way out or freeze solid before they can reach their cars in the ramp (not a worry in August...probably!). Their bodies are removed in the morning.
I had a mediocre meal there but there are some good restaurants, too. Of particular interest to eunuchs, and their friends, of a certain persuasion may be places like Hooters. That one doesn't do anything for me.
The more everyone writes about this, the less patience I have for August to arrive.

As much as I enjoyed the MOM going to the MALL (Washing out mouth with soap) is not going to happen. Its too much for me to handle... Unless its done at some odd time of the day so I can avoid the swarms of humanity crushing into me. Ack! Ack! Phht!!!!

The trip to the Mall was fun. I am not comfortable around large groups of people but the Mall is large enough that I never felt overwhelmed. Of course we were traveling in our own group and that helped. There is a lot to see and even an oxygen bar to visit. On the other hand I do not think I would be up to Christmas shopping at the Mall.

Many of the people arrived midweek. Some did the site seeing in small groups during the days prior the actual meeting. Many of us went to the Mall of America on the Friday. Again it was in smaller groups. Many grouped for a lunch at the Mall. A large number regrouped again to meet in a restaurant in a side room. No one knew what the group was. It just looked like a group of people having fun.
So there are many small groups you can be with. You can find the type of people you would want to be with and have one very special time that you will remember.

I was there in the Mall during Christmas season once.
Trust me, it was frightening.
I still have nightmares about the scary old worn out drama queen who was playing Santa. He made the one out of A CHRISTMAS STORY seem warm and inviting.

Dammit! I've been there three times and missed the oxygen bar??? I'd love to try something like that out, just to see what it's like! Of course, I'd also like a few of the 'smart drinks' that usually are found near such establishments, just to experience them too.

Third Floor, East End, a bit south of the end corridor, on the inside walkway... Roger can tell you all about it. We had to pry him out of there so we could go do dinner at the convent.

Looking forward to meeting someone else there with a wacky sense of humor. Riverwind and Flo are such boring duds - just can't crack a joke or laugh at all. Dont forget a lampshade.

If you're there, this may be a very painful MoM to attend. Already, with just the good sister, I've sometimes been laughing so hard my sides hurt. Now, with you too....
It'll be great to meet both you and your girlfriend.

Oxygen bar??? We don't have those up here in the Rockies and I had never even heard of that before. But then I suppose anybody that has trouble breathing shouldn't be up here in the first place. That mall out there sounds like a nice little morning hike to me plus there would be no rocks or branches along the path. Are you allowed to skateboard in the mall or do you just have to see if you can get away with it in the parking lot?

One of the reasons we do not think we can make this year's meeting is that Ken has taken so much time off of work, and he really cannot take anymore. So something I am considering is coming to the meeting on my own.
In order for this to work, I would need transportation for the duration, including from and to the airport. I would likely do as another member is doing, and fly in on the 6th and out on the 11th. I should be able to get my own room.
If this is going to happen, I will need to decide very soon as the price of airfare cannot go anywhere but up from here

One way or the other, we can get you picked up. I will be taking several days off for the MoM, and know where the airport is....
