About 3-4 months ago, I started to take a sewing needle and started to pierce my testicles. I have gotten to a point that I do this once a week and I enjoy doing this to myself.
Does anyone else have common interests?

I do cross-stitching, on the days when I'm not shooting arrows at targets or riding out on my Suzuki AN400. My little gold-plated needles go through evenweave fabric, not through my scrotum! Would be pretty painful if I decided to try cross-stitching my goolies - the needles are the blunt-end type!

The testicles are tough little boogers, but consistent puncturing might eventually lead to less sperm production if the seminiferous tubules are damaged. These tubules are lined with cells that produce sperm and the tubules fill the majority of the testicle cavity. Between the seminiferous tubules are special cells called Leydig cells (or "interstitial cells") where testosterone and other androgens are formed. These could also possibly be damaged with continual puncturing and therefore reduce your testosterone levels. Worst case scenario, puncturing with contaminated needles. You could infect the testicles with a bacteria that would damage them or at least cause a bad infection. You probably won't castrate yourself doing this, but you never know. Be careful. Hash

I have done this several times over the years with no discernable consequence. I have used long sharp stainless steel hatpins (about8-10 inches long) on occasion and took pics now lost

:(. Twice pierced both balls vertically and horizontally which left them a little sore but OK otherwise
Be very careful that the needles are absolutely clean and polished. I dipped mine in betadeine before insertion to ensure sterility. Also shaved the area and applies betadeine there as well. I did it out of interest and enjoyed the experience but slowed it down due to concerns of ongoing damage and a feeling that one day some infection would get in there in spite of the careful approach. I think Hash's comments are quite relevant unless you are over the baby making stage.
I have seen pix of multiple piercing with spinal tap needles. The protagonist is still around and actively posting new pix so probably is doing OK. I am not sure that I like surgical needles since the sharp end is designed as a cutting edge that may do more damage than a round pin with a pointed end. Never reuse them because it is difficult to ensure that the interior of the needle is sterile after use. If you get any rust in there or germs from a less than clean needle it will be very bad news so be very careful with your needles.
Testicular infections are painful and slow to respond to antibiotics as I found out from a bout of epididymitis (unrelated to any piercing activity). I would expect that a needle infection would probably behave similarly. Keep in mind that the internal scrotum or testicles are part of the the stomach (Peritoneal) area and which any infection can spread easily into and must be taken very seriously if it occurs.
Hope this helps. In spite of my words of caution here I still ocassionally indulge myself with the occasional piercing
Good luck and be prudent about it all.

Infection is definately the biggest concern. Make sure your scrotum, hands and instruments are sterile and don't cross contaminate. MRSA (antibiotic resistant staph) is getting more common and could really mess you up or kill you. You may also want to get a tetnus booster as tetnus is very much still around and has a high morbidity rate once you get it. My mom's friend got it recently and it almost killed her from a little scratch. Tetnus is also an incredibly painful way to die...

In other posts I have read: One should not use ordinary sewing needles, like the ones you can buy in the drug store or elsewhere. Besides being made in China of inferior materials, these ordinary needles are usually chrome plated, not stainless steel (or better). If the chrome plating should flake off inside your testicle you will have a major major (did I say major?) problem that will result in infection, pain, pain and more pain and more probably surgery to remove the testicle. A port mortem on the testicle would reveal the chrome flake, and if the medical care and surgery was covered by insurance, that coverage would be withdrawn because the event was self-inflicted. And whether it was covered by insurance or not, psychiatric care might be your next port of call.
If you can find a non-chrome plated surgical suture type needle, then all of the above precautions noted would apply, and still you are at risk of infection or damage that might result in hematoma or worse. In spite of of that, if you are still going to do this risky, dangerous and not recommended procedure, at least become very familiar with the physical composition of the testicle; plenty of info on this on the web sites. Avoid sticking the needle into the cords or epididymus or through areas where these tissues conect with the testicle.
I have also read that gently, carefully, so as to not rip, scratch, or tear anything, rubbing the side of the needle on the inside wall of the testicle creates an erotic stimulation beyond anything that is possible via a normal physical experience. I would imagine this would be highly risky. One wonders, if there is hematoma (bleeding) inside a testicle will it eventually fill up, enlarge and explode? Or cause a blood clot that could cause other complications. Sounds as if doing this is fraught with danger.

There's been a lot of good advice given here, especially related to using stainless steel and avoiding potentially dangerous or even life threatening infections.
This was originally a much longer post in which I pointed out what you would have to do to create as close to a sterile environment as possible, but when I read it, it came across as too much of a "lecture." So, I deleted that portion.
So, I'm going to take a "judge not that ye be not judged" attitude here and wish you well, but do a little research on sterility and infections on the internet and be careful. Other posters have pointed out the dangers of tetanus and abdominal infections.

While agreeing with all the above precautions, just want to say that I do indulge in this erotic form of play. While definitely a masochist, I don't find ball piercing the most painful of my tastes, but do find it quite a turn on. There is nothing quite like the head-trip of seeing a 6-inch hypodermic needle go into one side of one's scrotum and slowly make its way through and out the other side. And it is even more exciting when someone else's hand (sterilized and gloved, of course) is controling the event. While not an everyday happening, it is quite exciting. I and others have posted many pix of this at the BME site -- have a look.

Interests are common, only there are some points you should be aware of.
1. infection. You have to consider that you could get a nasty infection.
2. With every hole in your testicles your testicle inner tissue will be damaged slightly. Mostly seminoferous tubules that produce sperm. They will be healed shut and disturbed resulting in slighly smaller sperm count after every piercing.
3. Even if you do not feel any bad pain in your testicles you have to consider that complete healing inside testicle will take time.
4. If you do pierce your testicles on regular basis and often as you told, then you should consider that your testicle inner damage will increase pretty fast as you do not allow to heal from previous piercings making damage increase cumulative. Probably you will not notice that until the damage is so great that your leydig cells can not produce enough of Testosterone. Note, your sperm count will be affected much earlier.
I have done this to myself only 4 times so far with long periods in between (months if not years) with not planning any further piercings soon.
It could be fun, but there are huge risks that can not be visible or felt immediately.

Having had a vasectomy [another wildly erotic experience, by the way] in the early eighties, the sperm production concern has not affected my enjoyment of this type of play. As for testosterone production, I've been doing this play for over 15-18 years and have regular testing (for other unrelated health issues), I know for a certainty that my level has not dropped. Wether just lucky I can't say ... or perhaps I've just not been fated to have such a problem. Either way, I know I enjoy this erotic activity and would only encourage caution in following strict sanitary conditions as being the best way to avoid additional complications.

Ohh, I would so love to pierce another's testicles. I could create such a story around what I would do. But I guess that is for another forum. But suffice it to say that it would be completely sterile, and would be intensely erotic for both of us.
Oh my.

I also agree that experiencing a vasectomy was erotic to a certain degree, especially since I was pretending that it was an orchiectomy and not a vasectomy that I was having. This despite not having any erection or even the hint of one.
On the other hand, my castration at the hands of Dr. Kimmel was not erotic at all. At one point, I did have the beginnings of an involuntary erection but it was not an erotic sensation, and it faded very quickly.
It all depends on your mental state.

i am into ball piercing and love it . i am 60 years old and have had a vasectomy. i use injection type needles with the hollow up the centre.
i do it to myself but would be willing to let a female do it after she watched a couple of times to see how to do it. when the needle is about half way through the ball i just leave it sit for a while and if the needle is sloping downwards you can watch the semen drip out the end of the needle. after a little while i then push the needle all the way through the ball. i do both ball but with separate needles.
only once have i put more then one needle in a ball at the same time. i do this weekly and have had no side effects as yet. my problem is that i would like to find someone in my local area to do this with me but i am not game to discuss this with my friends.

I have had my wife play pierce my testicles fairly regularly for many years. We will usually put between five and twenty needles into each of my balls. I've allowed my balls to be abused in so many ways for so many years, that it is hard to attribute any ill effects to any one form of abuse, but I think I have had no problems caused by this.
A couple of major considerations to keep in mind. Use only disposable hypodermic needles for play piercing anywhere, but especially for genital play piercing. Keep everything as clean as possible. Do not reuse needles. Dispose of used needles properly under the guidelines in place in your community.
Some technique hints. Bind the testicles in some manner so they cannot move about while the needle(s) is in place. This will help to avoid having the testicles sliced up if the needles are moved within the testicle. Shave the scrotum, it makes it much easier to do the play piercings right. Do not touch any portion of a needle which will be withdrawn through tissue when it is being removed.
Play piercing, especially genital play piercing is very exciting and great fun. Testicle play piercing is a fantastic mind game. The pain level is minimal, but the mental aspects are extremely heavy. It is close to an overwhelming experience. I must say that testicle play piercing is my favorite.

I have similar experiences. It's quite good to use hypodermic needles, and only once. Otherwise you must sterilize other (sewing) needles in boiling, salty water for some minutes (in cases of reuse).
It's always a special sensation to feel the needles inside of the testicles ....and I like to move the needles inside of the balls knowing quite well the chance to destroy some cells there. I like this risky treatment, some drops of blood and juice and I am proud of these special experiences.

I discovered testicle piercing before the internet was invented or before I knew that anyone else did this. This has been one of my personal private secrets that I shared with no one. While always trying to maintain cleanliness I now know my attempts were certainly not medically sterile and I placed myself at great risk of infection or worse, but fortunately I have had no infections.
I combined my castration desire with needles and longed to have the inside of my testicles suctioned away through a suction needle. I don't know if that is even physically or medically possible, but it seemed like a good way to be rid of my nuts while avoiding the downsides of knives and sutures.
One of the most erotic things I ever experienced was gently
(not the tip of the needle) on the side of the inner wall of the testicle. Wow. Double wow. This was like a direct connect to eroticism and pre-orgasm. It is an indescribable highly pleasurable experience. Perhaps from age, or perhaps from needling my testicles over the years, my testosterone level is low enough that I can now be considered to be a virtual castrate, hypogonadic. I apply testosterone gel to keep my T count at the bare minimum to maintain healthy bones.
If it wasn't so difficult, dangerous, and costly to have surgical removal of the testes, I would still have it done in a flash. But not before enjoying a needle rub of the inner wall of my testicles. It is so fantastic because you can just make it go on and on and on for as long as you want to enjoy it. I think that's what made it so much better than ordinary sex. I was on the verge of intense climax for as long as the needle gently rubbed the inside wall of the testicle.
It seems to me that as one engages in sexual arousal and pre-orgasm there must be something going on inside the testes that is rubbing on the inner wall of each testicle and as this happens that is what builds up that pre-climax feeling, but once the wad is shot the activity inside the testes subsides and so does that pre-climax feeling and you enter post-climax. So much for my medical know-how. But I know what I did, and know what it felt like. The ultimate in achieving long term pre-climax feelings.
Now, don't you all dash off and try this. There is mucho danger potential from sticking needles into your testes. I am just sharing, not endorsing or suggesting such practice. And even if you did this your experience might be different anyway. It might not work on everyone, or you might not do it correctly and you might damage your nuts beyond repair, or get an infection, or suffer short term or long term pain. For example the needle must always avoid the spermatic cord and epididymus and only go directly into the testicle and if you don't know what you are doing or have someone show you how to do it correctly you definitely place yourself in the path of danger. I haven't done this for a long time, and dang, now that I have typed this it makes me want to do it again. It is so pleasurable that it's hard to worry about the risk.

Today I play piercing my testicle when I have time to do it.
I like to feel needle through testicle.
I'll be very happy to meet other people doing that.

I guess I have been lucky because I have gotten carried away a few times and nailed my balls to my work bench with 2 1/2" finishing nail. I did not sterilize anything and did not get infection. It felt great as the nails went through but I guess I will be more careful if I do it again.
