I wonder why no one ever talks about using one of these?

These things will cut anything. Smoothy and cleanly. I seen a guy get his thumb cut off effortlessly as he was marking the place he wanted the cut. His apprentice slid it up over his thumb without realizing it. He was talking to me, instead of watching his helper. He stopped mid-sentence and said "Billy, you just cut my thumb off". As if he was saying "nice day". No expression, no anger, no urgency.

I pressure bandaged it and took him to the hospital. They sewed it back on.

Anyway, in all the stories and fantasies I have read, I never heard anyone mention using a cable cutter. Even manual hand held cable cutters could be used. But I have never heard it mentioned.

Good thing he wasn't using his prehensile penis to hold the cable. ๐Ÿ†˜ :D

My guess would be that most people don't know that this tool exists.

It would be quite handy for some quick snips though, wouldn't it?

Maybe someone will write a story about how the use this interesting tool.

We had similar tools in the meat packing plant.

Air powered, click the lever, the jaws snap shut and cut the leg off a pig; right through the bone in the wink of an eye... snip

I have always thought they would be good to use after stretching and banding...you could take the whole package in a fraction of a second...

Sounds a bit quicker and less messy than the good old hand held Klein cable cutters that I have. Never ever thought about using them on my penis though!

DIY penetectomy machine. Yikes!!!!

There are two sensory pathways.

1) Temperature and proprioception (knowing where your finger, or arm,

or leg, etc. is without looking.

2) Pain

They travel at different speeds, #1 is faster and #2 can be delayed or shut down for a while by one's own body as things get, extreme.

Imagine, you drop something on your toe,

1) First, You know you "did it" to your toe and get anxious

then

2) < howl > with pain.

Watch the James Gandolfini HBO special with wounded veterans or listen to Max Cleland, Viet Nam triple amputee. They discribe a period after the shock of rationally, taking inventory of their missing parts after the blast, not overwhelming pain. That came later.

Hope that yields sense to the first story above.

maybe you could rent one at an equipment rental store! It would be a lot cheaper than buying unless you had 100's of men lined up to be done!

These tools are interesting. From the video smoke they are clearly very hot. They should cauterise the wound and stop any bleeding not to mention sterilisation effects (pun intended) ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘‹

Please take the video and post it for all of us to see๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ˜„

I don't think that hot knife acctually has a sharp enough blade to cut flesh with, you may end up in the ER explaining how you got a nasty burn on your privates.

Punky there is nothing Geeky about wanting a train diorama....

Woot!

hmm maybe not the knife ones, but what about the hot wire ones? What temp is hot enough to melt flesh?

Not melt, but burn.

Well, 200 C(or so) was enough to leave nice imprints on fingers when I touched overloaded triac.

300 ะก or so on soldering iron was enough to leave burn marks on fingernails.

And on topic - this tool must be very quick, or it will be really painful in process.

Well - it will be painful anyways...

I suppose there might be other potential dangers such as infection or electrocution... However most folks probably would stop well before they managed to do any serious harm to themselves.

Then again there is that guy who bit the tip off of his own penis :D
