I want it smooth.....

Three weeks ago, I shaved of my beard for the first time in my life.
I thought I shaved more skin then hair, what a job.
Well, about how it looks like: having this being seen nude in public is not more worse then me naked in public, and the mirror didn't brake
About the feeling, only two words:
F*cking Sh*t
Question to the EA "men" : How can some-one do that to himself? Who told you that that was normal? And who is you "master" that makes you do it again and again?
Question to the EA "women" Can some-one tell anything more about getting them of forever. (Laser) Where, what cost, how many times, how long does it take.....
I just want it to be smooth, with all the ups and downs

Huh? What are you asking?
Permanent depilate by laser beam,... where is it done, what are the cost, are there risks, how long does it take, how sure is it that it is permanent,......?
I guess some transgender girls (MTF) must have faced that problem, having a unwanted beard.
Ooops, sorry, I see that you are male, so the question was:
What the f*ck makes us so stupid to walk around like abrasive paper
I don't like this. I want it smooth or I let my beard grow again.
If I can finish it forever, sometimes people will notice.....
So what, I will tell them that this is the newest hit at America. The Dutch will start to copy me, later the Americans will see some pictures of them at a Paris magazine,...and follow. We might get a next generation that only knows a beard (or abrasive paper) from a museum.............
And no-one will understand any more who started that idea
Sorry, dreaming in to a wonderful future, just because I hate shaving and I am most certainly not happy with that sandpaper feeling
Just imagine, having you all that smooth.....I would want to kiss you all,
not only

I used to shave from once to as much as three times a week. Then some hair started growing below my chin down to my neck and also on my cheeks so I just grabbed the tweezers and got started. Now I spend about an hour or so on a Saturday morning or something. Beats shaving and I don't have that kind of dough for lasering or anything else. But that's me.

Nope, three times a week (tops) when I was in my thirties usually once or twice a week using the same disposable razor for months at a time. And then I went four years without ever shaving at all and achieved about a centimeter in length which I supplemented with mascara. But then when some dark hairs started appearing first on my cheeks and then under my chin and since I didn't like the idea of having to shave my whole face, I just yanked all those suckers out. Guess I am lucky. My dad used to give presents of shaving cream and aftershave which I never did quite know what to do with.

In England there are male who do a debearding. So they do not have to shave anymore. But why don't you pick up the phone and just ask what hte cost's are. laser-anesthetics. or something like that. Just use the yellow pages, and call. I have been thinking about it just to save money. 25 euro on razorblades every month.

A good straight-edge and a strop, a cup of soap and a brush, and maybe 5 euros a year, and a closer shave. Just takes an initial investment in a good blade.

Nope, I think he is funny. If I go for his way, I can use my Herbetz pocketknife. That investment was okay, only I am afraid that people get scared if they see that I can use it as a razor blade.
Of course I can pick-up the phone, I can search on internet, but some practical advice would be nice. The world is getting very small and the prices are very different, the quality is the best everywhere, they say if you pick up that phone. The price at Ha Lan (NL) will not be okay.....more???
And of course....I like to hear what people think of this idea, so if I present you an idiot, go ahead make fun, I asked for it. You have more Kristoff, make my day shoot.
Oh yeah before I forget, down there the depilatory cream does an excellent job, nice and smooth, but maybe the investment for a good blade is not a bad idea...............

From what I understand is that before the advent of the cheap disposable razor there used to be the art of "honing" your blades which were actually smoother for shaving, -just took more time is all. I think you'd get the blade as sharp as you could with a very fine stone or electrical line insulator and then even sharper yet with a cow hide felt or something like that. Basically you'd end up with the sharpest of scalpels.
Other than that I had once considered getting laser hair removal myself since I do have black hairs with a light mediterranean complexion.

I too like the idea. Don't know what I hate more - facial hair on myself, or shaving.

Well I sure hope the answer will be facial hair, I like you a lot, and for a nice kiss, I want you smooth, not shaved

JeanYes, I dislike facial hair more. Once tried to wax it

. Results were... mixed. Chin and all - hair removed cleanly. Upper lip - removed only partly, and I ended up looking like Whinnie the Pooh, after encounter with bees (lip was puffy for about a day...).

It is very easy to end up with ingrown hairs from plucking (epilating) hairs on the face or neck and also VERY painfull. With the sucky economy, I have seen many of the clinics offering really good deals on laser hair removal. Just do your research and find out what kind of laser will work best for your skin type and what the different clinics use.
Many will let you try a small area for free to see how it works for you. Also, it will take 3-6 sessions to achieve permanant results so ask about guarantees with free folowups after you pay for X amount of treatments.
I too hate facial hair but aften have stubble just because I hate to shave. I'd prefer no body hair at all but every body hair removal method I have tried was either very irritating or caused ingrown hair or both.

Thanks Ramses. At last something serious. In fact, I couldn't shave before because of skin problems, and yes ingrowing hair. Androcur made a change to a lot of skin problems. Nice to hear that they might have one a free test.
Maybe I can ask for discount if we find at least a dozen of us. I get the feeling that there might be more then a dozen who hate to go around like sanding paper.

I tried depilatory cream this morning after a fresh shaving. I warn you, that bites. But it felt smooth as baby Jesus bottom. Going shopping I got the feeling that it must have turned red, but lucky it was only a feeling. Coming down with some stone tables, I noticed that I stayed out to long....I could feel them rasping again.
I have to agree: Whinnie the Pooh sounds a lot better, I am going to buy some and study them

If creams like Nair and Epilstop actually worked (think about it) would there still be a market for razors, both electric or manual?

They work to a degree on some body hair. However on the face by the time they'd disolved the beard much of the skin would have gone too!

Paolo, Calmeilles,
Having missed half a life time of shaving, I sure like to try to much. Today I tried cream after electric (Veet for sensitive skin) It works, it becomes smooth, but I am sure that if I do this on daily base, I will run into great skin problems. But for fun,I have it a try........... You should know by now that I am not that normal(oops or is that normal at a place like this)
I did some research, I was surprized how much prices have go down compared to about ten years ago. I can get it in my own town. 6 times would cost about 1800 euro(only the beard)
If I consider the different prices at Vietnam, I guess I will end up with something around 1500usd for both upstairs and downstairs, and yes they advertise with that. I've asked Phuong to find out about an address and a serious offer (No need to go there by a tourist company)
Funny, that is about the same money as my little friend is wearing in jewels for his financial protection. So somehow it must be in range of my pocket money(and no, I am not going to steel his "jewels")
If I get real information about prices I will inform.
But there sure is another side: This would mean going nude in public, burning your clothes. No way back.
So please make some more jokes about me, that way I can find out if I can stand the laughters
loveUall, don't love shaving

So i too hate body hair and shaving. But my skin type and hair color doesnt work at all for laser tratment and my skin is very sensative to creams. So i get waxed everywhere below the neck. yes the first few times it hurt like hell, but as time goes on the hair grew back slower and finer and it hurt alot less. I was getting waxed about every 5-6 weeks.
Once i started on androcur the # of waxing is down to about 3 times a year.

Looking around for information I read something about a new combination of laser and electro. Should be working for all hair colours and even for dark tanned skin. The price would be same only you need a few times more. Get your information updated, it changes fast.
And I don't know, have somebody waxing my ass? No no, I am not prudish, but wouldn't a nice spank rip them of, far more fun....
Oh, let me guess, are you red, don't worry, doesn't matter if you're black or white
