"What's a Burdizzo?", you ask.

Yoli here,

Y'day I had to make a run to the smaller ranch some distance southwest of SA in order to deliver some paperwork that Ash(leigh) had forgotten to send before she left town (coast.) The foreman needed it ASAP so a female friend from the office and I made our way through intermittent rain for a couple of hours and accomplished the mission. She, BTW, is not a member of the KiKaKo and has no knowledge of my Kastration Kink.

We arrived at the ranch HQ, handed over the documents, and accepted an invitation to lunch upon BBQ'd wild hog, some great beans, potato salad, etc.

There were a couple of ranch hands and their wives and kids present and we enjoyed the occasion very much.

After the meal we went into the main barn and workshop to see an artist's rendering of a new small dock, boathouse, and guest bunkhouse to be built on the larger of the ranch lakes (about 65 acres at normal pool.) There was a "tool" hanging on one wall and although I knew what it was my friend did not. She asked "What are those funny looking pliers for?" The foreman, a fine and decent gentleman of the old school of Mexican gallantry, hemmed and hawed but before he could frame a response one of the ranch hands, a salty old Anglo who might have been born somewhere between the Battle of Gettysburg and the sinking of the Titanic rasped "That's a Burdizzo, Missy, we use it to make steers outta bull calves."

My ditzy companion replied "How does a pair of pliers do that?" and Methuselah answered "We squeeze their balls with it and it kills them balls."

I don't know who was closer to fainting, the foreman (out of embarrassment at the old cowboy's "directness",) or my friend, but I can tell you who nearly laughed her adorable hiney off.😄

On the way home she asked me if I'd ever seen a Burdizzo in use. " *Yes, but not on cattle. Don't ask." She didn't pursue it. Darn! A potential recruit too!

Yoli

Sitting here, windows open, savoring the light and sound show as well as the scent of the torrential downpour outside my open window.

*Only on the internet, though. Never in person...so far.

Can't we have both?

Of coarse...this is a very sensitive subject indeed.

While it maybe fun to joke about offers for castration, the implications can be quite serious and harmful to all those on the EA. Remember, this is a community of those interested in castration. If that intrest carried into facilitating castration, there could be huge implications for this site/community. Look what Google has done to the community, basically shunned us. And google is nothing compared to the gov.

And the media has a frenzy whenever a man loses his balls to something other than cancer or accident. A bunch of sex starved trash mongers, the media would descend upon this community and completely disrupt or destroy what so many have worked to build.

Currently there are no protections because castration and eunuchism are not sanctioned by the medical community. Someday this may change but for now it is best to express the desire and understand one's sexuality than use the site for a contact.

Sincerely,

chilli-

While I do agree with what chilli has said, I would like to suggest that this is also a community of men who are mainly interested in reducing or eliminating testosterone, be it by physical castration or some other method. It is testosterone, not testicles, that are the nemisis. Since physical castration is so problematic, risky, and costly the trend to chemical reduction/elimination of testosterone is the most probable course of action at this time. I personally don't think of chemical reduction/elimination of testosterone as "castration", but by some internet definitions, it is castration; which is why I find it at least informative to know if someone is a chemical or physical castrate - not that it makes any difference or that one is better or worse than the other - it is just a point of information. Although for some the thought of having no testicles, or actually having no testicles, has a certain sense of absoluteness and intrigue, and is the ultimate fantasy and goal. The burdizzo however is just not a safe and sane method by which to achieve anti-testosterone nirvana; do avoid doing that.

On the contrary, there are a significant number of members for whom testosterone is NOT the nemesis. Myself for one. There are many folks here who experience some degree of BIID (Body Integrity Identity Disorder)(about 1/3 of regular members). For them, it is removal of the bits that is important, not the T levels. A significant number of folks DO have issues with T (i.e., those with libido issues, trans-folk, and so on), but low T isn't the only objective here. Even for those who want the bits gone and maintain the T-related characteristics, a trial of chemical castration can also be telling - even if only an abbreviated trial - it clarifies experience and needs. I've gone without for periods (experimenting in some cases, lack of insurance in others), but overall I DO want testosterone. I just wanted the bits gone!

Well.......there you go......learn something every day.

I stand not only corrected, but I am so glad that you added this information for the illumination of myself and others. I spoke only from personal knowledge.

Most certainly I could understand anyone wanting/needing testes removed due to disease or pain and of course in trans-gender situations. And while I don't quite comprehend anyone wanting them gone just to have them gone, I respect that everyone has the right to personal body modification.

My desire for having them removed was extreme prior to chemical reduction of testosterone (CRT). After CRT I had little desire to have them removed. Variety, the spice of life.
