For those of you and us that love the Yule Season I wish everybody a happy one.
December 21st the shortest day of the year, remember to burn a log, even a fake one.

Thanks Riverwind, this if my first Yule season as a follower of the Old Religion and I will be lighting my Yule candle for the next 12 nights. It's nice to see someone else acknowledge the original reason for the season. Blessed Yule, all!

Can't burn a Yule log where I'm at here but I can say that every day from now on things will be starting to get gradually brighter and brighter, -at least up until Jesus and my birthday.
By the way what is the best wood for a yule log anyway. Is it cedar, juniper, pinion or oak? All I know it's supposed to be a hard wood of some type but never did know exactly.

i hope everyone has a happy and safe one,and may the light shine on all of us,the true meaning of this time of year real has been lost.
But as the saying goes,it is better to give than to recieve, and as the weather starts to get colder outside, let us all give a little thought to those who might not have a roof over there heads this season.
Also to those who will be alone on the 25th,and pray that good cheer and fortune shine on them as well, god bless you all.

Strangely, Yule sounds like the name of a Norwegian farmer somewhere in Minnesota with a funny accent.

A doubly blessed event starting with a total lunar eclipse.
I passed out dark fudge to some neighbors saying, enjoy the darkness.
Cartman type thinking: If I give the gift on the 21st that gets me in line for return gift the 25th.
If you don't watch, South Park, too bad.

Have a Merry Christmas - all of you. Be good and don't do anything I wouldn't do like eat half the table and fall into bed in a fat induced stupor. Celebrate the season. Eat, drink, belch, fart and be merry.

And as Justice Kagen said,
'she probably spent last Christmas at a Chinese restaurant like most 'MOTs'.
I believe she would appreciate, and I hope y'all to to.

Happy Santa Claus Day,
Y'know like "pet rocks"
someone might make a fortune selling boxed, gift wrapped lumps of coal.
Remember, "pet rocks" ?
