Hey guys!
I have booked a combined orchectomy+penectomy surgery overseas for 23rd of August. I will need to stay 15 days there, because of the urine catharization. I'm so excited and really looking forward to it!!!
Of course, I have read a lot on this subject, but yet I will ask you for any suggestions, like what should I expect after-wards? Will I gonna feel pain, after the effect of the anesthesia declines? And... FINALLY.... when should I expect decline of my sex. drive, the first few days, or?
Thanks in advance, brothers in arms!!

Tell us more! Where are you going for the surgery? What are they charging you? What kind of pre-requisite requirements do they have?
There's a very good thread here (
http://www.eunuch.org/forums/showthread ... mp+urethra) of someone who destroyed his penis and testicles essentially by strangulation. After a few surgeries to become a full nullo, he was surprised to find a wealth of erogenous feelings (
http://www.eunuch.org/forums/showthread ... post179731) at his new urethral opening (
http://www.eunuch.org/forums/showthread ... post183721).

I am also very interested in what they charge and where it is. The only info I could find was from 2009.

Will you be sharing a sort of daily or near daily diary here
or someplace else
or are you just pulling our

?
Sure would appreciate the sharing as it unfolds from boarding the plane. Checking into the clinic. First thoughts after waking up.
And all the little details too.

You can look at my old thread (in the "blogs and life stories" section) along with the thread by a guy who goes by the moniker Thraddash. If you're going to the place in Thailand that I'm thinking of, be sure that you corresponded with the right people; you can privately PM me if you want.
Good luck!

Well, maestro123 should be a complete nullo eunuch by now, if he had the surgery as planned yesterday. I hope we hear from him soon, pictures will be wonderful and I hope he had someone take some for us here. Maestro?? Where are you?
P.S. According to his profile he was born in 1986 making him 31? but in one of his four posts, he states that he's 23?

Sometimes you have to travel to get what you want and I'm amazed at the amount of people who come here and say they want this but only if they can get it done locally. That is a cop-out and an indicator the person is not serious. If you truly want something, you'll do what you need to achieve it, even if it means you have to travel.
Now to answer your question, no, I don't know of anyone in Europe or the US that will do what you're asking.

I agree that if you're serious about something that you'll prioritize and do what it takes. With that being said, some people really don't have much money and for them even $10k is going to take years to save and so trying to save money on travel is understandable. Also, frankly I don't really trust doctors in most other countries (I barely trust them in the US!0. I think Thailand is probably safe, but the main thing is that the rule of law and amount of corruption in other countries is just so much different that you can get into trouble easily. I really wouldn't go to Mexico for instance -- you simply would have no recourse if the surgery was botched or your health compromised. And even in Thailand do you think you could get a fair trial or even police investigation against a doctor?
With that being said, Dr. Arkoff now does castrations in US for non-transsexual. Once you get the castration, then I think it should be fairly straightforward to convince a US psychiatrist that you have a eunuch-oriented gender identity disorder and progress towards official okay to get a penectomy by a qualified US surgeon.

You make some good points regarding doctors both domestically and abroad.
I think my issue comes with those folks that live in, say, California, and won't even consider the notion of traveling within the US to get what they want. If it's not on their doorstep, suddenly it's a huge burden. Well, sometimes getting what you want requires sacrifice, in this case traveling.
I'll agree that a foreign trip can get hugely expensive, but with a little planning a domestic trip should be manageable. Extend this to those people living in Europe that won't even travel between their comparatively smaller countries. Think about those that live in the UK and asking them to travel to Germany gets met with a reaction like you told them to travel to the moon.
Those types of people are who I'm talking about. They put up artificial road blocks to getting things done which tells me at the least they are not yet firmly committed to being a eunuch. My actual experience is that most are simply fantasizing at a rate of about 10-1 (fantasy vs. actually wanting to have their testes removed). I come here looking for the one, not the ten.

GE Money has a credit card out now called "Care Credit".
It's only taken my certain MD's, vets, dentists, etc.
You call in, touch tone all your info, and you get denied or approved RIGHT NOW.
I took out one of these, 6 months/no interest, to get a tooth fixed.
But after 6 months, they charge 23% interest.
Might be an idea for this fellow in Michigan, if he takes other cards.
Just a thought.

Yeah, I agree. I also question anyone who wants physical castration but is not willing to try chemical castration for at least a year first. I understand that the goal may still be physical castration for various reasons, but at least a serious person would actually experience the effects first.
In my case, I am glad that castration is NOT too easy/available. I know that I don't really want to be castrated, but have a huge compulsion/fetish to get castrated. So I go through a cycle of doing fairly serious attempts of self-damage, then immediately regret it. However, I know that if there was a "no questions" surgeon local to me, I would definitely end up castrated. So I think having some inconvenience is actually useful -- for weeding out both the non-serious and also the people who are compulsive with respect to the desire.

I am just looking to have my penis head removed. Testicles and scrotum long gone. If glans was removed I would only have an inch or so of relaxed penis which is enough to pee standing. Can the penis just have a flat stump with scar tissue on the end. The concept of recreating another glans with skin graphs seems counter productive. Serious here but don't want a complicated partial penectomy with hospital stays etc. Any suggestions?

If you cut just under the rim of the glans the shaft skin will stay attached around the shaft but the end end will be blunt. I have done that with mine and have cut about 75% through. I did small cuts over a week and ended at my horizontal deep shaft piercing. You can see photos on tribe under my profile "NuderThanNude"

I would like to spend a minute on my thoughts about a few things that have been said in this thread. I am here because I have Gender Identity Disorder, also known as transsexualism in my case, but I see no difference between me those who wish to be castrated, penectomy, or nullo who are not transsexual. It's all gender identity disorder of one kind or the other. The feeling that ones gender is not appropriate for one's mind. To me, the individual reasons are not that important because even though I am transsexual and my reasons for not wanting a penis and testicles may be quite different for someone else, it's still wanting to get rid of unneeded or unwanted parts or the effects of the hormones they produce, because they don't feel right.
But having said that, I really don't buy into the whole "those who want it will do what it takes", mentality. In the transsexual community we call it "transition or die", but it means the same thing. The only problem with this mentality is that only a very small few ever transition and of those even a smaller percentage are passable as truly live in their target gender without detection. The large majority lack the resources or the excellent health that is required for such a transition. With median individual income in the US at $31k and family income around $50k, the average person can not afford the $5-10k for therapy to get the letters one needs, the $5-10k for electrolysis, the thousands for doctor visits, blood testing and hormones, not to mention the $25k cost of the surgery, not including breast implants for $6-9k, and facial feminisation surgery that can run from $6-75k.
And for some, even if they could come up with the $75-125k that transition costs, have high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease or sometimes just obesity that means hormones and transition are out of the question. Only a small percentage of people with gender issues ever see a therapist, but of those who do, only one half of one percent .5% ever transition. The rest are the non-op transsexuals. I am one of them and had I believed in transition or die, my only choice would have been to die.
And one more side note: I have lived my life as a female for over six years now and I have seen many of my friends transition over the years. In my discussions with them both before and after transition, I am not convinced that surgery will cure my dysphoria any more than what I am already doing. I can't say that I ever met anyone that regretted transitioning, I have not, but I have been told that the dysphoria persists even after surgery. It never ends.

Lately I've been thinking about the best way to go about this would be. There are multiple organs to consider here with the skin itself also being one of them. The least invasive way would be to approach it slowly. With minimal damage to the skin each organ can go one by one every several months or so beginning with one of the twins, the glans can be considered one organ in of itself. The last organ to go should be the skin and the urethra itself.
