Castrated Years/Months:- December 2005. 7 Years, 10 months.
Method:- Surgical.
Age:- 42 (castrated when I was 35).
HRT:- Yes.
HRT Type/Dosage:- Testosterone cypionate injections - 1mL of 200mg/ml once every 2 weeks under physician supervision.
General Health Status:- Good, though I need to lose a lot of weight, but that's my own fault, not the fault of castration.
Libido:- Moderate... though I think my partners is low. I'd like to have sex more often.

Here you go.
Castrated 5 years, but basically a eunuch all my life
Surgical , uologist in hospital
Age 55
HRT, yes, can't stand without it, UGH!!!!!
Using injected depo testosterone, each week 1 ml. of 200 mg preparation
General health is very good, a few aches and pains, but that comes with mileage and age. Overall great. Still can easily work and 75 hour week , and play hard on weekends.
I have an amazing libido, it just never shuts off. Makes the b/f very very happy.
I take an OTC vitamin supplement when I remember, but overall mostly I depend on the food I eat. I still pretty much eat whatever I want , and have no trouble maintaining my 29 waist. I do get plenty of exercise between working, and caring for the house, and my "damned" antique boat. LOL
My whole life was spent with testicle issues, so for me having achieved the removal of testicles way earlier would have been much better. I have not physically presented visible testicles since I was 25 , so I am quite used to that part. I love the sensations of sexuality that I seem to have while my intact friends do not. I am very comfortable with being more emotional , and gentler and more caring, which I am in spite of a fairly high HRT dose.
Part of me is sad that I was never able to father a child, but in life we all have challenges we must face. I adopted a great kid, and raised him pretty well, and may do so for another before my time is done. I can't really see any other negatives, and am quite content with who I am.

Castrated Years/Months:- 0 years, 9 months, 5 days
Method:- Chemical. 100 mg Spironolactone daily.
Age(be honest):- just turned 28 today.
HRT:- Yes.
HRT Type/Dosage:- oral estradiol, 4 mg daily
General Health Status:- Absolutely fantastic. Cholesterol plummeted with HRT, lost 47 lbs, blood pressure dropped, blood sugar dropped, people tell me I look healthier than I ever have been. They say that I look like I'm glowing.
Libido:- Big change from before. I'm still able to get excited when I want to, and still enjoy sexual stimulation maybe once every few weeks or so, (it is definitely MUCH harder to orgasm recently, though,) but it's not a need anymore. I'm in control of it now. I can either do it if I feel like it, or wait several months without really feeling any different either way. It's no longer in control of me, I'm in control of it. The estrogen, though, has actually made the sensation once I do get there WONDERFUL. And it keeps getting better and better with every month. (Plus not having to deal with the mess anymore afterward is a BIG plus. And so is not getting spontaneous erections anymore. I have HATED those ever since I started getting them in the first place.
taking Omega-3's, Biotin, and a multivitamin daily. Eating on the "Paleo" diet which consists entirely of meat, fruit, and veggies, with no grains or sugars. Have lost 47 lbs since starting HRT, and still going. Started at 270, down to 223 now.

My Observations on being a eunuch:-
Well, I guess I'm trans, not necessarily a "eunuch" per say even though I don't have any T in my system, but I can say this: Best... decision... ever!!! In every single way that I used to hate how my mind worked, hate how I felt inside, hate how my emotions worked, I'm calm and at peace now. My brain is finally working the way it did before I entered puberty again, and I'm happy on a core level again after 14 years of feeling like everything was wrong up there. Plus having boobs and a female shape is freaking awesome, and makes me smile every single time I look in the mirror, but again, that's just a trans thing. But I can still gush about it, right?
The difficult things:- Mainly trans stuff. If I was just on chem-castration it would be a lot easier, but being trans means having to put up with constant social fear, and constant worry about whether I look female enough to "pass." If it were just chem-castration, the only difficult thing would be the knowledge that I'm never going to have kids. It's a sacrifice that I had to make in order to be myself, but I'd be lying if I didn't say that it hurts.

General Health Status:- Very good, but overweight
Libido:- You betcha

My Observations on being a eunuch:-
Wear tighter undies, more comfortable, and something to talk about at parties.
The difficult things:- No balsies, no play thingies. Don't miss em, either. When T-level drops, bad symptoms return. T-levels range from 800 right after insertion to 80 at end of 4-month cycle. Lowest measures 80, and I felt like crap.

Kinda fun. Some guys notice, some guys don't. Some guys freak, some don't care.
The difficult things:- Miss playing with my nads, miss my thick cum (its watery now), miss the smell of my ballsac after a workout. Also don't have a package to show now in basketball shorts at the gym, just hangs straight down in front so looks like i'm dickless. Always worried about what Drs. will think when they find out I'm missing my stones.

Castrated Years/Months:- Total 3 years, October 2010 I had the left removed, June 2007 the right was removed
Method:- Surgically, Right through scrotum, left inguinally, general anaesthesia for both.
Age(be honest):- 35
HRT:- Yes/No - Yes
HRT Type/Dosage:- testosterone ethante, 0.5mL of a 125mg (1mL) amp.
General Health Status:- Fair, mental health much better with 0.5mL versus 0.4mL
Libido:- stable and controlled. Sex still possible
Vitamins Diet that help me: Not sure. We eat a lot of green vegetables here.

My Observations on being a eunuch:-
I am calmer, I do not get angry as easily.
The difficult things:- HRT took forever to understand too much was hell and too little was a different hell. Missing a dose is a new kind of hell, I get depressed really, really easily. Mental health is the most difficult for me.

Method:- Left one small knife, right one Dr. Kimmel's scalpel
Age(be honest):- Castrated at 48, currently 56
HRT:- Yes -a little each day. Just enough to ward off osteoporosis.
HRT Type/Dosage:- One pump of Androgel. I prefer compounded testosterone but insurance won't pay for it.
General Health Status:- Real good. About 20 pounds heavier than my female doctor wants me to be.
Libido:-Very low to non existent
Vitamins Diet that help me: Not eating. Actually I am eating more whole grain foods, rice, beans, a little chicken and some fish. No red meat.

My Observations on being a eunuch:-
It's a beautiful thing not to have your life controlled by sexual desires that consume you. Being a eunuch is freedom.
The difficult things:- Getting my penis removed. It's just a limp noodle with no real use. Don't need it to pee, have a medical reroute.

I had no choice, it was an accident in my childhood. I grow up as an eunuch. I tried testosterone Injections, but the side effects was to heavy. With 16 i had my last injection.
The difficult things: I live near Berlin with my boy friend. He has no problem with my impotence. At day i wear a inlay in my shorts, because i often lose drops of urine. At night i must wear a diaper. Since the Accident i slightly incontinent.

Castrated Years/Months: Coming up on 4 years this winter.
Method: A combination of my own "will not say here", plus surgical castration, plus (quasi) surgical gender reassignment.
Age(be honest): 35, castrated/operated upon at 30-31.
HRT:- Yes.
HRT Type/Dosage: Estradiol, at a full transition dose.
General Health Status:Better than 90% of other people my age. A little curvy but in a good way.
Libido: Variable. My girlfriend has sort of figured it out though, and I'm not driven by it when she's not around.

The one exception: There are certain androgynous people who really strike a chord with me.
Vitamins Diet that help me: Vitamin D (northern climate, not much sun). Easy on the alcohol, sweets. I do not eat much bread either.
jcat (imported) wrote: Sun Oct 13, 2013 10:21 pm
My Observations on being a eunuch:
For me it turned into a gender transition. I'm still on the androgynous side for a woman, but if I had to choose between being a man or a woman, I know which way I would go. My overall presentation is andro-femme.
The difficult things: It would have been easier to do things the "official way" conditional on being able to slap on a skirt convincingly 4-5 years ago. That not being the case, I did things the hard way. It's a gender transition. It isn't easy. Duh. Also, bone health and energy levels, especially during that period I was living without sex hormones entirely.
It was still better than living as a crazy person on T.
