ribs on Saturday would be good. anything I don't have to cook myself. :,) Need a body count for steak dinner at the convent on Thursday, too.

STEAK DINNER!!?? Sure glad I'm coming on Thursday instead of Friday as originally planned. I just saw this thread now. Guess I need to pay better attention.

Looking forward to seeing you again

Jesus and I landed safely in MN earlier this afternoon, then spent nearly an hour waiting to get a rental van. Ended up with a Ford Expedition, which I love, and he hates.

Nothing on the agenda for tonight, so the neighborhood cats are safe.

Spent the day with Jesus and Paolo, touring a couple of parts of Minneapolis. Spent the evening with Jesus, Paolo, Daughter (and family), Uncle Flo, nvrgag, talula, and tobinkerry. We had a grand time, lots to eat, a lot of good wine, great company and looking forward to more tomorrow. State Fair tomorrow. Excited.

Breakfast at the Mothership is over. Sorry, if you weren't here, you've missed it!

Yes, it was great! The pure maple syrup on Talula's French Toast with sausage links was outstanding. The cantaloupe was the juiciest, sweetest and tastiest I've had in a long time. The food for the whole MoM was awesome. Talula told me where the syrup came from so I took the short ride "down the road" and bought 3 quarts to bring home.
