Riverwind is in Hospital

Hi All,

Just wanted to keep you all updated. I got an e-mail back from Riverwind today.

He went to the Doctor today for a checkup, and was hospitalized because of an infection, (I'm not sure where and the cause just yet), some back issues, and a few other issues.

According to the e-mail I received he should be back online in a few days. He doesn't want anyone to worry about him.

I wanted to share this information with everyone here, since Riverwind is an active member.

I hope none of this was related to his recent castration. In any case, I wish him a speedy recovery.

I too am sorry to hear about Riverwind. I know he was worried about going back to work on Monday and I did not go on the chat room last night, but I did read his post about leaving work early. I hope it's nothing serious! I do worry about you and hope to see you back soon.

I haven't heard any more from Riverwind. I doubt that he has easy access to the interenet from the hospital.

I don't know what hospital he is in either so I can't try and call him to see how he is doing.

All we can basically do is wait for him.

Oh my, thank you all for your support I could feel it all the way to to Hospital. Long story short, had three things going on

Pain in my chest which I though was a pulled mussel, (it was)

they ran everytest on my heart known to man, My heart is fine.

My back, I have a pinched nerve in the back and could hardley walk. This is a work in progress.

Infection: I got an infection on the surgery area, it is now about healed and better, still taking antibotics.

If you are wondering, Its not often a hospital gets a real live eunuch to work on, I was exmined but at least 25 different people and some more the 8 or 10 times. <sigh> had one group of students that waited for me to get out of the bath so they could see, 😄 felt like saying get out our cameras, but just said gather around and take a good look, then figured It was my turn and asked them had they ever seen a eunuch. :D they left in a hurry.

Anyway, I am now home, i am tired, but will join the chat tonight.

Love to you all my friends.

Riverwind,

I think your response to the med students was great. I think a bit of humour mixed with shock value is a great response to anyone who expresses interest. When someone says, "You're castrated?" it is best to say "Yep, wanna take a look!" That will always shut them up quickly.

Glad you're being cared for.

I have been in the hospital for the last three days, feeling really shitty, infection from the surgery that I had in Philly by Dr Kimmel.

On the way home I got the prescriptions filled and when I got home went out to this board to tell everybody I was ok.

When I looked at the prescriptions and opened the one for infection I noticed that it was the same thing Dr Kimmel gave me in Philly that I misplaced and then forgot about. I looked for it until I found it; it's the same identical stuff.

I feel like such a dunce. Don't know how I missed it, and all of this would have been prevented if I had not misplaced the prescription I got from Dr Kimmel.

Well on the other side a lot of people in the hospital got to see his work and several said what a nice job. It was not all a loss, I had fun throwing back the sheet so show my surgery off to anybody that wanted to look which was just about everybody that came in the room.

Most of all I want to tell my friends that I am sorry, I feel so stupid. 🔨

For those that are going to Kimmel, take all the pills. You will be fine; he is a wonderful man and great surgeon. Yes make sure you take all the pills he gives you, all of them.

I'm curious: How did you explain your lack of testicles to the people at the hospital, and what was their reaction?

I told them the truth, some could handle it others could not. 😄 😄 😄

The ones that could were the gals more then the guys but I guess that is to be expected.

I did notice that most of the guys were more then uncomfortable with my condition.

The best thing is I got a private room, ??????? I am not male or female, :D :D :D :D :D

I was asked more questions than you could possibly imagine. It kind of became funny to the point that I keep myself exposed longer then needed. What the hell.

Anyway if being in the hospital can be a good time I did have a good time.

This confirms my own experience. Doctor Kimmel is an excellent surgeon, and after my scrotal removal I did take the pills, so I had no problem healing.

Riverwind,

I'm glad things are fine now. It's good to hear that eunuchs are the side show entertainment when they are in the hospital. I guess it's something for me to look forward to.

I guess my attitude is that if they're looking, they deserve to see whatever they see. <ha>

Again, glad you doing o.k. Missed ya. I'm gonna miss all of you while I'm away next week. Do I really have to go to Georgia? Ugh...

I am glad to hear that you are doing better and back home. Please do rest and take it easy.

I do recall Dr. Spector instructing me to start taking the Cipro pills two days before surgery until five days after. I had no post-surgical infection, so I should add to the advice of several others to use all the pills.

Wishing you recovered health,
