From other responses it looks like yours is elective, on basis you have researched and know what you're getting into just enjoy the day, the feeling that it's finally going ahead, stay on track and confident and look forward to coming around in the recovery room having achieved what you set set out to do. Other than that, recovery is quick for scrotal approach a bit longer for inguinal / radical approach so make sure you have a good book or remote control batteries if the latter.

well it got delayed to today due to an unrelated car wreck taking up the time of the doctor, but other than it taking 2 hours [the nurse doing it was training another nurse how to do it during my surgery] it went well. Me and my GF both got to watch and had no pain [or feeling down there] at all during it [honestly if I wasnt watching it could had easily convinced myself I was just lying on a table/chair].

Currently resting at home with my GF beside me, will keep you all updated.

Did they do a spinal tap for anesthesia?

one injection in my lower back and 4 or so down in my crotch region, so not fully sure on that

I wanted to be awake for mine, but was pretty much forced to be put under. Woke up with a sore throat that they must have stuck a tube down.

As little as I know, surgeons do not like to have bystanders during the surgery. In the operating room. Also they usually set up the screen between your face and surgery area so you would not see. Which was a case with my circumcision with local anesthesia.

I joined the club 4/17/23. It was a Monday. Spent all day Tuesday sitting in the couch doing absolutely nothing, but no real pain. Discomfort and swelling up in my pubic bone.By Thursday's I was up and about and was pretty functional. One long nap in the afternoon. By the follow Monday, other than the swelling (have ice) and the bruising, I was doing evert thing normal except lifting any thing more than 8 pounds. Yes, it is. He does this on other forums as well, very inappropriately. EA is just his latest place to go trolling for masturbation material.

He's quite well known for doing this when folks come on to other places to make their announcement they've had surgery, and are LITERALLY in bed recovering from it. First thing out of him is always a photo request. No compassion, and no thoughts about anything other than the person providing him photos to jerk off to.

Sadly, he's done worse.

Never know. Maybe in the future he will get tired of being ruled by his desires and get himself detesticulated and then have to deal with requests from others.

well quick update, been sore for the past few days [day of was the worse, but the rest of the week has been manageable] and a small amount of swelling. Been mostly taking it easy. I have a follow up appointment tomorrow and next week an appointment to start hrt [T replacement].

well quick update, both appointments went well and I have started HRT injections [twice a week]. so far me and my gf are absolutely loving everything involved with this
