I was reading a while back and I saw that they used to boil urin for the salt in Ancent China. The salt was used as a hormone suppliment for men and women. If you have access to a male's urin, it may be a good natural way to replace testostirone after castration.

Check Rodney Needham's MULTI-volume history of science in China. They used urine from horses - far greater volume to work with.

Obtaining hormones from horse pee is still very common. Premarin (PREgnant MARe's urINe) is obtained from horse pee, and is extremely popular. From:

http://www.lef.org/magazine/mag96/96jan1c.htm

The most popular prescription drug in the United States is Premarin, which contains several types of natural estrogen derived from the urine of pregnant mares.

The estrogens are obtained from the salts in the urine.

http://erxdirect.com/DE/premarin_specs.htm

Premarin (conjugated estrogens tablets, USP) for oral administration contains a mixture of estrogens obtained exclusively from natural sources, occurring as the sodium salts of water-soluble estrogen sulfates blended to represent the average composition of material derived from pregnant mares' urine. It contains estrone, equilin, and 17-alpha-dihydroequilin, together with smaller amounts of 17-alpha-estradiol, equilenin and 17-alpha-dihydroequilenin as salts of their sulfate esters.

I eat these up like candy.

Hugs,

Kelly :)
