Glansectomy

Have any of you considered or have you had a Glansectomy? What is your opinion of this procedure? I was nearly given one at birth, but it was reconsidered.
As I understand it from your previous posts, you were born "intersex" (correct me if I'm wrong!) I'm FAR from expert on the topic, but as I understand it, part of being intersex often includes problems w/ the entire urinary tract that can mean some surgical intervention is needed to enable the child to urinate at all... In addition it at least used to be considered the best approach for treatment was to try to patch the kid up enough to at least look like 'standard binary' - since it is "easier to dig holes than build towers" most often that meant making the kid female looking - a glansectomy could be part of that, for obvious reasons... Fortunately as I understand it, the practice has shifted to doing only what is 'medically necessary' to keep the child healthy until they grow up to an age where they can make their own decisions about what is 'right' for them.TheRagingEunuch wrote: Tue Mar 18, 2025 11:00 pm Have any of you considered or have you had a Glansectomy? Thanks for the clarification... I sort of see the same thing in the wheeler world, the kids that were born with disabilities have far fewer issues with being stuck in a chair than those of us that were injured as adults and know about all the things that they lost...TheRagingEunuch wrote: Wed Mar 19, 2025 9:10 pm "From what I was told I was born with "deformed" testicles which were removed to avoid future medical issues. I was in fact raised with the knowledge that I was in fact a "Eunuch/Male". As they say, you don't miss what you never had, and being different didn't bother me much. Later on, I did receive implants. Life goes on.
Does any parent do that their children? Or are you speaking about circumcision? Because glansectomy is the removal of the penis gland (head).dandelion wrote: Wed Mar 19, 2025 2:52 pm I would not have forgiven my parents if they had done that to me as a baby
When my sexual repression was at it's highest point, yes, I thought of doing it. It would be a self inflicted punishment. I was really messed up. Today, I think that there's a 10% chance of ever doing a glansectomy or partial penectomy. It depends on how sexually active I'll be.TheRagingEunuch wrote: Tue Mar 18, 2025 11:00 pm Have any of you considered or have you had a Glansectomy? What is your opinion of this procedure? May I ask if you're virgin? I am, and that's a shame to me.TheRagingEunuch wrote: Thu Mar 20, 2025 10:43 pm "Today, I think that there's a 10% chance of ever doing a glansectomy or partial penectomy. It depends on how sexually active I'll be."
Not to mention the pain. I consider myself fortunate to have never had to deal with this "SEX" BS.
