Just wanted to say thank you to those people who were kind enough to reply to my request for info and help. We've now submitted a programme synopsis to Channel 4, which is about castration in both a cultural and historical context, and are awaiting their response. I'll keep you posted! In the meantime, thanks again for the correspondance and answers to all my questions.
