Hello EA, I'm glad to back here after 4 years. I was a regular in 2021 in the EA version 2, I couldn't find this place anymore thanks to hard research... I later found my beloved site. My username in the past was kondraty selivanov... That's a well known name for the founder of a Russian Christian self castration holiness sect founder who believed they make heaven when they achieve total chastity... Same beliefs I have for myself. Now this is my real name and I'm in social media fb/X

I'm the only African here... I'm nigerian.... I was 19 yrs old in 2021 now I'm 23... Graduated from university with b. Engineering in electrical electronics in 2023... Now got a job... Saving hard to get my dream therapy depo provera... My holiness cure... My cure for this burning lust and desire that has plunged me into tears for years now... I masturbated for too long... Watched porn even after preaching the gospel cos I believe in scripture but no remedy to overcome the flesh and it's lusts... "😭 Oh the burning concupiscence.. that earth my soul.. maketh me weary"... I came to full understanding of chemical castration back in 2019... Found my beloved site EA v2 in 2021... I learnt a lot from the numerous stories in this site then... I'm glad I'm now working (was a student then in 2021).... I'll get it ordered from Lagos pharmacy soon... It's quite affordable but I doubt it's originality

I need advice please... My heart is set... Never had a girlfriend in my life... Never touched a woman, never had sex... Never missed... I don't miss any of that... I just want a eunuch calm .. and I applied for a master's degree in the UK I got the scholarship for spring September working on my vista now.....

Welcome and glad to have you here. I'm sorry you had trouble finding us here, but I think we lost a lot of people from EAv2 in part because of it shutting down so abruptly and ahead of schedule. There were only a few days between when Fusion brought this site online and the communications mix-up that led to EAv2 shutting down a couple weeks before it was planning.

How did you find us now?

We will be interested to hear how your progress w/ Depot Provera goes, definitely keep us posted.

Hello, my name is Nick. I am eunuch who was electively castrated in May of 2023. I had been a member of the previous EA under various names. I've been on TRT starting about a year before my surgery. I've tried chemical castration in years past and I never like my testicles. When they stopped working I had them removed. I've been wondering what it's like to go natural and I'm going to give it a test drive after experiencing an enlarged prostate and pee related problems. I was prescribed Dutasteride 6 months ago by my doctor and it did wonders for my hair and my prostate calmed down but it made me feel sort of chemical castrated anyway so I figured why not go natural? I'm 51 years old and it looks like it's time to give it a try. I'm also interested in trying low dose estradiol as a hormone alternative. My doctor has agreed to prescribe me a weekly patch version if I feel like I need it.

I'm here for advice on the transition. I look forward to meeting a few friends.

Best Regards,
Nick

Hi Nick, Glad you found us here. I know a lot of people have gone natural, but it does have risks of bone health among other issues. Because I was already at risk for bone issues due to my SCI, (and have been told I already have osteopenia) What I STRONGLY advise is getting a 'baseline' bone density scan before stopping the T, and then repeating it as often as your insurance will allow (typically every 2-3 years) to monitor.

When I started talking to docs about getting fixed I was told that natural was completely not an option, and that I would have to agree to T or E for life before they would even consider chemical castration, let alone surgical... I opted for E, and have been on the E-patch since... Other than having to remember to swap out the patch twice a week, it is pretty low hassle... It DID make my breasts grow, and I now have noticeable "Moobs" but am still barely within the 'normal male' range, at least with a shirt on. The wisdom on EAv2 was that how much you get is extremely variable, but somewhat related to age (older-less) and how endowed your female blood relatives are. Takes about a year to grow as much as they are going to, not much change after that.

Very shortly after I started on the E patch my nipples and the area under them became very tender and sensitive, and this continued for 6-9 months, although it did get better over time. My Doc tells me this is fairly normal and essentially what girls go through as they hit puberty.

I've seen one or two references that a shot of X-rays into the breast buds at the 'cancer treatment' levels will prevent the growth, but it is unknown if it might lead to cancer later, and I haven't heard of anyone actually getting it done.

Hello back at you.
do you remember what your doctor started you at and what your estradiol levels were then and now? I'm curious about your energy level after going on E, and if they increased your dose to optimize it? I want the least bit of boob growth possible but I want to feel my best too. I don't want to rush into it though because I might be fine at least for a while without hormones. I've heard you can go long term on as little as a .625 mg pill of Premarin or a 1mg pill of estradiol valerate. Patches is what I'll be prescribed. My primary care doctor also specializes in gender affirming care. I talked about it with their care coordinator before I became a patient but I stayed on TRT after becoming a patient. I can change to E when ever I want. It will cost me the same as TRT and it's not a controlled substance. I can stock up for emergencies like keeping storable food unlike with the legal pitfalls of testosterone. They keep your prescription on a tight leash when you take TRT just like with pain medication. Just to get an emergency supply of T you face federal charges if they catch you. If they intercept E they usually confiscate it without prosecuting anyone. It's makes little sense because steroid users are taking a lot more than T.
You can have the breast tissue surgically removed and I think even as a preventative surgery but I haven't verified that directly with a surgeon. It was mentioned in a post on Reddit that some doctors offer it now. I'm sure there are a few options to choose from.

Thanks for the advice, what is the procedure like for the bone density scan? I haven't discussed going natural with my doctor yet. I have an appointment at the end of the month for bloodwork. I'm stopping on my own after that to see how I feel and when I see my doctor on the following visit I'll let her know what changes I want to make. I've dropped my T dose down in the 225 range for a while. It wasn't what I was a looking for and my prostate would still be enlarging if I stayed with it. I've really low T in the 150 range in the past when my testicles stopped functioning but I have
never experienced castration levels before.

Basically talk to your doc and ask for one - telling him you are considering going natural, but even w/o doing that saying that you have been advised that monitoring your bone density is a good idea since you are a eunuch. Not sure what the process might be outside the US (You don't say where you are) but probably not that different....

The procedure is not to difficult, essentially you lay still on a table for a few minutes while the machine moves either the table or a sensor arm (or both) that does the scan. It uses a very low dose tightly focused X-ray beam that alternately scans you and a you plus a set of reference materials and uses that to calculate your bone density (Years back I actually had a temp job building the machines...) It is not to different from an MRI or CAT Scan, except the machine is much more open - no pain or other issues other than needing to keep still... As long as you don't have any metal in the wrong places you even get to keep your clothes on... Basically they usually look at your femur and hip joints and give you a score based on how you compare to others your age.

If you are having prostate issues, have you had your PSA checked? Back on EAv2 I got strong advice (From Wasserung via Jesus :!: ) that if one has a prostate then getting PSA checks is highly recommended, especially if you have any family history of prostate cancer, or otherwise are at risk. Getting fixed and going on E or natural will greatly lower your risk of PC but won't eliminate it entirely...

No idea what my T levels were when I was younger, but a few years after I was injured (in 2010 at 50yo) I was checked and found to be about 1/2 normal, and was put on T gels to get me up to the 'normal' range for several years. When I started down this path, I went back off, and dropped back to 1/2 again. My first Lupron shot dropped it to "undetectable" and I've been at that level since (Which I'm slightly concerned about since even normal females have a higher T level than I do...) My current E patch holds me at the 'average' low range of E for a woman.
