📢 NEW SURVEY – Usefulness of the WPATH Standards of Care

A research study from the University of Hawai‘i is now open for participation.

🧪 The study explores how the WPATH Standards of Care v8 – Eunuch Chapter has supported individuals in accessing gender-affirming medical or surgical care (e.g., orchiectomy, penectomy, nullification).

📝 Participants are invited to complete a completely anonymous 30-minute survey to share their experience. No personal information is collected.

🔗 Click below to take the survey:

📚 The results will contribute to a medical journal article and help improve access and care for the Eunuch community.

hey my name's Mel, I was very Interested in EA v2.0. I was heavily exploring methodologies of sclerosis ablation and other forms of ablation, whether it's thermal or anything else. Glad to be of service and attempt to provide lived experiences and anecdotal evidence. ^__^

Welcome, glad you found us again...

Not sure I recognize the term, can you explain what you mean by "sclerosis ablation" I know ablation is what they sometimes use when writing research papers, but not sure about sclerosis... (Or is this some sort of weirdness from translation or speech-text software?)

My apologies, I initially typed down sclerosing, but it may have gotten autocorrected. Basically, one of the main components of our Intratesticular Injection(s) techniques, is the fact that both Ethanol and Calcium Chloride cause blood vessels to coagulate and shut on themselves. It cleanly seals them off. It's pretty much how some of the people here who've done numerous Injections go to a urologist and the urologist finds that their testicles are completely Infarcted and dead.

OK, that makes a lot more sense... (It's why I say A.I. stands for Artificial Idiot! )

I will say that to a large degree the use of injectables for this has greatly gone down, which is a very good thing IMHO... We now have the WPATH SOC v8 which gives a defined medically managed path for those of us that want to be castrated to follow... I was actually one of the first folks to get fixed strictly by following the SOCv8 process, so I can say from personal experience that it works...

Some ways it's a bit of a pain as you have to do a lot of waiting and usually a period of chemical castration along w/ a few psych interviews, but I found it very low hassle otherwise, and it avoided the risks and pain that many reported they had w/ injectables...

Yeah honestly AI, is pretty idiotic. I didn't use AI for the responses though. I literally have 0 online friends as of now, which has been the case for two years, lost them all. Been spending all my day having talks with AI, which is kinda why I sounded like one I guess..

Either way, you're absolutely right, the new WPATH guidelines are wonderful. Although for the few of us who live in 3rd world countries. We really can't find that kind of help from the medical world unfortunately (in our specific healthcare systems). Which kinda entails that, we have to take it into our own hands. I've been compiling a lot of studies/"evidence"/testaments towards different ablation agents. I've looked into hypertonic saline/neutersol/cacl+ethanol/150 proof ethanol with varying results. I'm writing a paper on it with LaTeX, look it up, it's a really cool software!

I was wondering if you'd be cool of me releasing it on here eventually.. That would be pretty cool

It would definitely be OK and I think it would be helpful for those you mention that can't readily do the SOCv8 route, or possibly not able to do the informed consent medical tourism option (i.e. folks like Dr. A. in Mexico)

I think it was very sad that we lost all the info in the LONG CaCl and Alcohol threads on EAv2, as there was a lot in there about what NOT to do... I had made some notes of the things that some of the more competent sounding people posted back when I was first looking into getting fixed, as I thought it seemed like the best DIY option. I then learned about SOCv8, and several of the EAv2 experts convinced me to go that route instead (not hard, my biggest fear was about making that initial contact w/ the TG center, which turned out to be a non-issue) I did a bit of cleanup and posted them here viewtopic.php?p=2522#p2522, (though I'm considering moving the thread to a different area....) However there is definitely room for improved information....

Irrelevant for me now, but I had seen a few mentions, but no details on the Hypertonic Saline option, and I'd be curious to see how it worked as it seems to me like it would be somewhat safer than some of the other injectable choices since it is using something that is already present in the body albeit at much lower concentrations, so it MIGHT be less harmful if small quantities got into spots it shouldn't (i.e. leakage from the injection site back into the scrotum)...

The other thing I was sort of amused by a few months ago was to learn that Neutersol was an actual drug that really existed as a product (although it worked differently) given how many of the Fiction Area stories had it as a method (unfortunately most were 'minor' stories that Dandelion has opted not to make visible) When I mentioned this to Paolo, he said that the manufacturer (which has since gone under AFAIK) had a serious $#!t-fit when those stories first appeared and made all sorts of threats, w/ cease and desist letters, etc. which didn't have any real legal validity (they checked) and so they told the manufacturer where to stick it and ignored the threats.... :P The stories still exist, the manufacturer doesn't...
