I'm a bit late replying, but hope everyone is having a great start to the new year!

So far, so good... Had a decent holiday considering it was my first one w/o my GF and not having a lot of other things to celebrate... However life is progressing, I think the process of dealing w/ her estate has taken another step forward, at least according to a message from my lawyer earlier today...

Still VERY tentative but I MAY be doing a New England continuation of the long running EAv2 "MOM" gatherings, so that at least some of us can get together in meatspace, now that it looks like the house will be passing to me and allowing me to do some modifications and much needed upkeep on it....

Was short for "Meeting Of the Members" and was a get together of as many members as could get to the hosting location... Most of them were held in the Wisconsin area at Kristoff's and Talula's houses (Talula was one of the founding members of EAv1, and the main technical admin of EAv2. Kristoff was the head moderator) There were a few other local ones at different places over the years, but not regularly...

I actually drove from Mass to Wisconsin last summer for what was probably the last of the EAv2 MOM's which was a very scaled down event with only a few people specifically invited.

It is basically a social event where we can hang out together and socialize, and while there is a definite amount of comparing notes about our experiences it is basically a PG-13 event - no 'show & tell', no orgies, or other such goings on...
