This is very early, but I like to plan things a bit and wanted to start the discussion....

I am very strongly considering continuing the long standing tradition of "MOM's" or "Meeting Of the Members" from EAv2, and hosting the first EAv3 MOM some time this summer... Unlike the previous MOM's that have been in the Wisconsin / Minnesota area, this one will be at my home in the Metro-Boston Massachusetts area....

The past MOM's have been held in late July / early August, and I'm thinking in terms of that time frame as well.

I am thinking of something on the order of starting Thursday night / Friday and ending on Sunday / Monday morning.... No obligation to show for all of it, come and go as desired...

I'd be interested in hearing from folks that are potentially interested in attending, just to get an idea of how many I might expect...

Looking at MY calendar, the August 7-9 weekend is out, but July is open, and so is the first weekend in August - If you are very likely to attend but have conflicts, mention that and it may impact the date I pick...

FWIW, I'm about midway between the Logan (Boston) and Manchester NH airports - Logan has more flights, but is harder to get in and out of... Manchester is a smaller regional airport with fewer flights, but is IMHO nicer and much easier to get to / from... Driving is pretty easy, as I'm relatively close to the major area highways. (and roughly a mile from a commuter rail station) I can offer a small amount of floor surfing space, and there are several major chain hotels within a few miles...

The house will be a bit of construction site (I'm getting a major addition put on) but my contractor assures me that we won't have any problems inside, and that he can have all the workers off-site so it shouldn't be a problem.

I have only been to the last 'invitation only' one that we had at Talula's house last summer, which was a very small gathering, and it was definitely fun... (I posted a bit about it back when it happened)

To me one of the great things about it is that it was the first time I'd ever had a chance to meet other 'real eunuchs' in person - which I think for many of us is a kind of rare thing given how relatively few of us there are and how scattered we are...

Sadly this would be something I would not be able to attend but I would fully support this for people who can get to the location.

I agree that it's to bad you can't make it, but certainly understand as it's rather a long way to row...

While I certainly welcome all, and hope to see a few of our more distant members, I expect that in practice it will be mostly folks in the northeast US and possibly Canada...

Considering current political climate in USA - I'll definitely stay away from it in this presidential term (I prefer myself unICEd). Even if it was possible to get visa to USA.
