Doctor is reporting Kimmel

I went to the urologist today, and I probably shouldn't have mentioned Kimmel when he asked because the urologist said he is going to report him :(

He wasn't the nicest doctor in the world and I thought I should just cooperate with him because he had already made it clear he was under no obligation to treat me.

Obviously I'm not feeling very good right now because the only person who was willing to help me could be in a lot of trouble because of me. And what about everyone else? What if Kimmel can't or won't do castrations anymore? So many people would be left without safe access to something that they really want and even need.

Kimmel told me that the AMA knows what he is doing and has no problem with it. That was probably a lie, wasn't it?

I guess all we can do is wait to see what happens. Hopefully this doesn't turn into a big thing. I was wondering if I should call Kimmel and let him know so he has time to prepare. Should I?

Does anyone know if this has ever happened before and if I'm just worried over nothing because it's something that happens all the time? The worst thing is all of this was for nothing because according to the urologist the other doctors were wrong and there is no infection. I just had the sutures removed and was told to ignore the prescription for the new antibiotics.

Why did you do that?

Due to this the Dr's license may be suspended then more people will have to do it the more dangerous way.

This is not a good thing for may people.

A person should never render this information.

I'm sure Kimmel has had more than one complaint filed against him. After all he is doing what the mainstream of doctors won't do and I'm sure there are many opposed to that. Spector had the same problem until it got to a point where he was doing sloppy work near the end when they pulled his license.

That urologist you seen today sounds like he needs to be reported. An he DOES have an obligation to treat you, no matter who did the original surgery. You are paying for his services.

I did it because at the time I was convinced by two other doctors that I had a serious infection. But yes, it was a serious mistake, and I am very much regretful. Right now I have someone telling me what a terrible person I am, and he is right. I really screwed things up for a lot of people, and I could even be responsible for people's deaths because of this. I would understand if everyone would like me to leave. Would that be best?

Plix,

Calm down. There have been people out to get Kimmel before, making improper moral judgements about him and his work. They're no more likely to succeed this time, if they try. Should a California doctor actually file a report with the Pennsylvania state board, there's a real question as to whether or not Pennsylvania would do anything without a patient complaint from you as well.

You are a new and valued member of this board. We look forward to having you as part of the group.

Jesus

:) ;) Excuse me! But isn't this called elective surgery. I can't understand what the problem is. I have a friend that at 25 had all his teeth pulled out. So to some this would be horrible but he didn't want any more cavities. It would seem to be a personal decision and up to the individual. We are free moral agents and others should mind there own business.Hugs Dear,Leona 👥 👯

You need to find better medical help. Try contacting your local gay/lesbian centre for a referral. That's how I found my current MD.

Why did you do that?

Probably because the first response to the question, "Who was your Doctor?" is to answer "Dr. so-and-so" without thinking about it.

Your comment towards Plix is out of line, shallow of thought, and pretty much downright rude.

Were you here in person, you'd have my fist down your throat right now.

Don't you dare leave, Plix, and please stop beating yourself up! This place is your home and there are lots of loving people here; some of the finest and kindest people you will meet... and some of them aren't even eunuchs! :)

I did have a serious infection after my castration and needed a second surgery, and believe me, I was the talk of my urological clinic when I got back from Philadelphia. My regular urologist shouted at me so loudly that the whole office and waiting room heard. A good portion of his patients are males with various forms of sexual dysfunction, and he is accustomed to hearing one or another version of, "Fix me, doc! My weenie won't work!"

It's pretty hard for physicians like that to understand those of us whose "fix" is emasculation.

Be assured that Dr Kimmel has run into a snag or two before this. Prior to my surgery he and I discussed the litiginous nature of our society and how more doctors would be doing what he is doing if they weren't so afraid of law suits. I believe he can weather the storm. When a doctor and patient agree on a mode of treatment, there is no impropriety or breach of ethics. Had he castrated you without your consent, that would definitely be cause for a flap.

If being a eunuch is what you truly wanted in life, be of good cheer!

Welcome to our gender!

Greg

Plix,

I agree with the rest in here, DONT YOU DARE LEAVE as we have already adopted you into our family. As for that jerk of a doctor, remember this you can fire him as your doctor and get another. As for Doctor Kimmel I would not worry, if this jerk of a doctor does complain the Penn. board is likely to just round file it. Most doctors freak out when you tell them you want to have them cut off, as said above, look to the gay comunity for your Doctor.

Plix we love you,

River

I am starting to feel better now, but I still will worry until I know that nothing has happened to Kimmel. Is there anything I can do for him?

These doctors do seem to have a very hard time understanding people like us, whatever our reasons for wanting to be eunuchs are. One of the first questions he asked me after finding out what I did is "do you have mental problems?"

I want to thank everyone for being so supportive. This has been a hard time for me with everything that has been going on, including the infection scare, worrying about where to go next, and now this, and I am very grateful to have the Archive to turn to :)

plix,,,stick around my friend.no ones mad at you. I ran into almost the same situation with a uroligist I saw "after returning from philli," and he was a dick also. Kimmel can hold his own and I am sure you did nothing wrong.

Your current uroligist has the problem.Maybe he has had a life long desire to be castrated himself and took it out on you.

I saw a doctor that actually avoids me now since my surgery. "Imagine that"

How professional is that? Doctors can be very Immature at times.

Quit beating youself up. 🔨

Make sure you keep good notes about what all happened with Kimmel, the 2 doctors and this blasted Urologist. To me it sounds like this urologist is the one that should loose his license.

I wish there was a way to convince the medical community that they are the ones that need to change. I sure spent 2 weeks with my balls exposed fighting with the Doctors to finish the job I had started, and only wound up having things patched up and a near death experiance from the psycotics medication they had me on.

At no time did I change my stance with the Doctors that I did not want to do it, I still kept saying I'd probably do it again or find someone to help me. 4.5 Months later I found a cutter and it was over. BTW I did ask the urologist and my shrink what I could do to convince them and neither said anything all they said is there are programs out there.

Have Doctors Kimmel or Spector ever posted here? Are they aware of this site? Just wondering, sorry if it's a stupid question.

Num, yes that is a dumb question but accepted as a good one.

Both doctors know of this site. I am not sure either ever posted here but plenty of our members have spoken or visited them in Philly. I have spoken to both and met Dr. Spector in Philly seven years ago.

Take care and keep posting those good questions. If they are not asked, no one will ever hear the answer.

No question is stupid only the answers.

As far as I know, Kimmel and Spector have never posted. I know that Kimmel knows how to find us.

Today I was told by my doctor's office that the culture my doctor took tested positive for infection. So the urologist was wrong. I almost followed his advice and got rid of the antibiotics.

A good fist in the mouth is still the best cure for rude doctors. You have no idea how much satisfaction it gave me to deck Doctor #2 here some years ago. You just have to insure that the fistee doesn't have the nerve to call the police. Usually, threatening to plant about a pound of pot in his car will do it.

This doctor definitely needs something. He was even yelling at the nurses. Even my doctor's office said they didn't know what he was thinking when he said there was no infection.

Turn him in.

Make as much trouble as possible.

If nothing else, an anonymous tip to the cops from a payphone that you saw kiddie porn on his PC while there will make his life miserable.

Keep in mind that I am an evil person who gets even in drastic ways. I've read several "revenge" genre books in legitimate print, and a LOT of the stuff in them work.

One of my favorites is planting "illegal" items in someone's car, then turning them in.

Of course, I only do this to those who truly deserve it.
