Re: Desperate to be a Eunuch
Unless I misread it, you post sounded so melancholy. I know it's impossible, but I can't help but ask, "Is there anything I can do? Be a symathetic ear? Something?" Your being here on the Archive means (and has meant for a long time) a great deal to me. Just thought you should know.

Re: Transitioning at work and in all of my life
Keep up the positive thoughts and things will start winging your way. That, and being proactive in your job search will get you through, I'm sure. (I know the feeling..I work by "contract work" all of the time and sometimes wind up having to be inventive to get $$$ rolling in.)

Re: Desperate to be a Eunuch
Nice thoughts, and maybe a little bit melancholy at this time of year. But then autumn always did bring that out in me when DST hit. Our lives aren't about things, but about people, our connections to them and our place in the world, as you say here.

Re: A New Introduction
If somewhere i the middle's where you want to be, then why do much of anything. The caveat is that you should do what's right for you and not for someone else.

Re: Testicle Cord Tourniquet
Yeah, C-clamps of any size don't work because all the ones I've seen don't have a locking down mechanism. I can appreciate having to watch your $$$ with your med and looking for an alternative. Maybe using the spring-clamp method on some days and cutting the med dosage in half after about a month of ...

Re: Desperate to be a Eunuch
I've read your posts for years, and only registered recently so I could share thoughts with people whose shoulders I've peeked over anonymously.
All my most heartfelt & best wishes go out to you today, tug, although you don't know me from any stranger on the street. And I'm sure there are more ...

Re: Testicle Cord Tourniquet
My reply disappeared in mid-post ($@#! laptop touchpad!). So this may double-post.
Thanks for the questions, nullochris. Instead of saying everything over again at length, the answers are: I don't get erections anymore & libido does disappear significantly, at least for me.

Re: Testicle Cord Tourniquet
While it'sa workable idea, here something that worked for me. It was inexpensive and readily available:
Go to a home center and purchase two large spring-loaded clamps -- mine had a clamping surface of about 1 & 1/2" across. The handle and the clamping surface was covered in a fairly pliable ...
