I haven't heard the episode, but when my T crashed, it was many months before I found a doc who was willing to listen. I was crushingly depressed (ideating suicide), had terrible mood swings between sobbing and uncontrollable rage, massive weight gain (~100lbs), no energy, zero sex drive, hot ...

I'm having a penectomy and perineal urethrostomy. My surgeon is calling it "genital reconstruction—male to nonbinary"— so I think there are a lot of ways to go with this sort of thing.

My username refers to fact that some years ago my body quit producing testosterone, so I'm on T-replacement to counter the unpleasant (for me) side effects of being a (virtual) eunuch.
