I've read that naltrexone has been used successfully to treat sex addiction. Has anyone tried it in an attempt to lower their sex drive?

One of the main reasons I'm looking into castration is to control sexual desires that I regard as sinful. Anyone else here for this?

It sounds like what you need is, not castration, but some counseling to get comfortable with your sexuality. Did your parents make you feel shame about being a sexual person? I strongly suspect that the problem is in your head, not your testicles.

Also, does anyone know if endocrinologists would agree to assist in monitoring and conducting blood work for someone if that individual were taking Androcur? I ask because it's obviously not FDA approved.

I plan on doing it by the book, medically, but I'm really afraid of some kind of really dangerous side effects.

If I told an American doctor that I was taking Androcur and that I wanted him to help me do it in the safest possible way, with blood tests and all that stuff, would he do it, or would he refuse on the grounds that it's not FDA approved?

If I take Androcur long enough, what kind of permanent physiological effects might happen to my reproductive system.

I know that the drug is not FDA approved, but can you get in actual legal trouble if you are caught in possession of it?

Is this sufficient for individuals seeking chemical castration?
