In a rural area near Healdsburg, CA
(an hour north of the Golden Gate Bridge)
The site has plenty of parking space for camping trailers and RVs. There is a grassy area for anyone who'd like to bring a tent and sleeping bag. There are motels about 10 minutes away in Healdsburg (and cheaper motels in Windsor, about 20 minutes away). Guerneville, a small town with the third highest percentage of gay and lesbian residents of any census tract in the U.S. is 15 miles (and 40 minutes by winding rural roads) away from the site. It's another 15 miles (and 25 minutes) from Guerneville to Jenner, on the coast at the mouth of the Russian River.
Plan on a jacket or windbreaker for cool eveningjemagirl (imported) wrote: Thu Aug 20, 2009 8:51 am The average daily high for the period is 88° and the average nightly low is 53°. These are "average" and it's possible to have days that reach 100° or have the fog roll in from the coast and the night drop down to the low 40s.

Let me know how likely you think your attendance will be - ranging from "I hope to be able to attend" to "Nothing will stop me short of a national disaster." Also include whether or not you plan to stay on site or in town.jemagirl (imported) wrote: Thu Aug 20, 2009 8:51 am Include your regular email address to which attachments (including a PDF map to the site) can be sent.

I need to work now until the 25th, so that end that.
Still, I hope later in the summer to visit the area. I'd like to take the wife and kids on the Skunk Railroad. Wife has friends in central CA, etc. I have messaged with chilly and maybe there are others in that part of the world who will be around.
Hope all who attend enjoy.
