First of all this will break indexing by the search engines. And nowadays - anything that is not seen in search engine or actively advertised - it is effectively not on the web.nullorchis (imported) wrote: Sun Oct 04, 2009 10:43 pm A suggestion. Require anyone who wishes to visit the site to register and set up a user name and password. Forbid any entry through the "back door". When people see postings via the "back door" they don't see the warning notice that is on the first page.
By registering each person would then declare that they are of age and that viewing the site is legal in their area. They wouldn't need to provide any personal information, just set up a user name and password. Maybe that would help. Personally I think it would be a good idea anyway. It seems most inappropriate to me for some under age personr to type in some search word into Google that may exist within the E archive and accidentally arrive at a very graphic archive posting.
Second - do you really think that this will stop underage persons from visiting? You know, you can not check ID via internet. (Or should this form also require a scan of passport?
