Since such carping is all you ever post, I'm not sure anyone will miss you.

I would/will miss Dev. Although I don't contribute very often (the "wheels" well and truly invented here, no need to re-invent), I do enjoy what others have to say. So please, no nasty jibes.

Maybe it's my lack of thought proccess, or I'm just overworked! For me, what brings me here is only a small part of me, like most I'm a complex being.

Hopefully Dev will find an alternative access to the internet.

Sorry, but we will not accept that burden - it is on you. You can go to your USER CP and turn off avatars. Your choice. You've been told before, and you choose not to do so.

An expression used by various family members comes to mind; "get off the cross someone else could use the wood".

I may delete this when I reread it and it sounds snarky.

. So please, no nasty jibes.

If that is directed at me, my comment is drastically toned down from what I wanted to say. I'm tired of hearing about the stupid avatars, especially since he's been told, time and time again, he can turn them off. All I can say is Dev is fortunate I'm not an administrator on this site. Were he acting like this on my site, he would no longer have to worry about anyone seeing him access the site.

Miss Albert (Nathan Lane), The Birdcage;)

On avatars: I've sent countless PM's to board users who have complained about them. If you can't (or won't) turn them off, and you don't have private Internet where it isn't a problem, then that's not OUR problem. They're staying on in the VB prefs.

Computers and equipment are cheap or can be had almost free or free if you look (not the latest or greatest or new but used and usable for web and email and dated apps). The internet service, can be had also cheap (not DSL or fast) dial up for about $10 a month. There are very few who do not $10 per month to spare.

Please forward any unwanted "spare" $10 notes! I could do with an upgrade. I might even afford an avatar.

Should have known better. I've visited USA several times! Sorry. Put it down to my re-education. Yes, I was once educated.

Thank you for the kind offer though.

Is EA Dead?? No Virginia, EA is STILL ALIVE!!! Perhaps the holidays had something to do with the lack of post, or as others have stated, many posts have answered various questions related to castration over the past several years. I have been posting on the subject of Finasteride, which seems to have severely reduced the size of my penis from almost 4 inches (soft) to 1 1/2 inches (soft). At the same time, I have had NO ORGASMS (no matter how much I tried) since October, 2009! My sex drive has decreased at least to over 95%, but is it due to medicines I'm taking of the fact that I just turned 68 in October, or none of the aforementioned theories! We still have many things to discuss. As a former academician, I can understand Jesus' reluctance to do a 4th study, due to the amount of research and data comparison and study; BUT there are others out there who may want to pursue such a move and if so, contact Jesus (the other Jesus, I mean) about starting a new study. Research takes a lot of time and energy and well as staying focused on one's goals! Best wishes and HAPPY NEW YEAR to my friends at EA!

Sailorboy, I'm sure you meant well, but did you notice the last post before your response was made on March 13, 2010? That's nearly 2 years ago.

I get a little twitchy when threads are closed simply because they've been revived (after all, maybe someone has something relevant to say and it would allow more discussion even if the thread was previously stale) but in this case I'm not so sure it would be a bad idea to shutter the thread.

So what is different, what is non-sensical or amiss? We are definitely interested to hear.

I know of nothing wrong with the Message Boards or the chat room. So the Boards are run by a nice guy wearing the bright red robes of a nun. That's normal isn't it?

I can't see any radical change other than improvements in performance and the subtle changes that come with software updates!

What I do know is EA is very much alive and been a great help to me and I am very thankful for it and the very real friendship and and support I get from many members. Even though we have not met it feels like family to me and a very important part of my life.

Witout the help of this site and the information here, I would still have my balls and be in pain. Thanks to the info, I am now very happily castrated.

Was back about 2005 when the internet was the new growing madly, there were several groups focused on castration like KLAMP and erotic castration. I was a member of a couple of them. Ocassionally I actually felt I was talking with a real person. Beginning about 2007-10 that seemed to dwindle. It got to the point that there might be one post every six months about something like Cowboy John in St. Regis, Mt having a mass castration. Really? I have actually dropped them. I suspect that Splitdick had a good point earlier in this thread that at first there was a lot of pent of demand from years of people not knowing there were people with similar thoughts and desires. That has worked its way thru. I still pop in here because there are interesting people who now and again have something interesting to say.

In the time (months and years) since the EA dropped the "political board," the level of abuse of political forums has risen across the internet.

Even on the discussion boards for movies and TV shows, posters don't just disagree, they question manhood, ancestry, and post vulgar, insulting comments. All this just to say that they won a point. they don't begin with a political statement, these posters start with insults so vile that it is disgusting. There is no "discussion" just comment threads twenty or thirty posts long filled with insults and impossible hate-filled spit.

There is one political site that regularly posts warnings and rules in the comment threads and for each of those posts, certain members call out the website and the authors in rather vile and disgusting terms. They post the comments that were deleted on their private websites and criticize the political boards as wrong. I can't tell you what the post were but they were vile. Those websites routinely let political figures be compared to sex organs, barn animals, and criminals. Even the movie boards I go to to read about the latest and greatest films tolerate "F" bombs and other bad language. The posters lack respect for anything.

So be glad that the EA is free of that type of "discussion".

These discussions have evolved far beyond anything that was ever done on the EA. (and I'm one member who can say that).
