Hello everyone.
I am a 60 old man living in France. I'd like to chat about impotence and castration.
Since more than 1 year I've started to get impotent. That means I haven't the full morning erection I used to have before. My cock was very hard and straight-up but now it's only a semi hard and dangling cock.
First I was sorry and frustrated. Now I'm starting to accept the fact and I can say I began to appreciate the feeling of having a cock which refuse to get full erected. It's a strange new feeling of frustration and excitment at the same time.
When I was younger I was afraid about loosing my balls and getting impotent. Now I understand that I could get castrated and found out a new sexual way of life.
In summer I used to go on a nudist beaches or/and resorts. So now I no need to fear about having a undesirable erection in front of others or lying for a nap.
Is there any other guys here to share with me about their own experience with impotence and castration ?

Re: from France impotent
For about a year after my double orchiectomy, by a urologist in a hospital setting, I retained the ability to get an erection.
Then I could not get an erection, and have remained completely impotent every since.
I use testosterone gel prescription each day; I was prescribed an ED pill, which did not help.
My surgery was just over 6 years ago, when I was 72, I am now 78, but age had nothing to do with my impotence until about a year after the surgery.
I still have sexual tension and cravings, but no visual or physical stimuli helps me to get an erection.
I have noticed that some guys are able to achieve an erection long after castration, and I am happy for them, and enjoy seeing their video or still images.
It happens, and nothing can be done about it, but attempt to not be frustrated by it, and be thankful that this is the only physical issue, which does sometimes cause emotional issues, but listening to calming music helps to keep me calm and in tune with my now impotence and lack of ability to get an erection.
A small impotent penis is my new life.

Thanks photoglenn for sharing your own experience.
Are you still keep going testosterone gel to avoid some others side effects ?
The guys you see on video are maybe younger and use injections just before the snapshot ?!
Anyway it's good to know that some are able to get erected without balls.

Re: from France impotent
My case would be the inverse. I'm way younger, 25 years old, but my lack of sexual intimacy with women makes me frustrated to a point that I consider castration in the future.
I already liked the subject since teenage, but since 2022 I've been thinking in doing it one day. The three things I fear are: the dysmorphia that could come with it, since I like my testicles; the weight gain and the impotence, as you pointed. I still like to play with myself, so I don't know how I could handle live without it.

Re: from France impotent
Since your libido is greatly diminished after castration, you probably won't think much about masturbation. However, you could always take supplemental testosterone if you still want to get hard-ons, although your cum will be watery and you would be impotent.Friotler7 wrote: Mon Feb 10, 2025 1:28 pm I already liked the subject since teenage, but since 2022 I've been thinking in doing it one day. Good luck!

Well, one of my strongest bits of advice, is that if you have doubts about doing it, DON'T....Friotler7 wrote: Mon Feb 10, 2025 1:28 pm My case would be the inverse. It is also worth remembering that at 25, you still have plenty of time and potential to find the woman of your dreams... Take a look in the mirror, and ask if you are the kind of person a woman might consider dating material? If not, what can you do to change what you see? (Don't be phony, nobody wants a fake...) Might be looks, might be personal habits, might be something else...
That said, dysmorphia I don't know much about... Weight gain is avoidable by working on a healthier diet and eating less. Impotence is a problem that should be expected but might not happen, and as already pointed out, becomes less of a concern... It definitely sounds to me like you might do well to consider a chemical castration trial for a month or two in order to get a better feel for what it's like...

I was thinking in chemical castration (CC), too. It's almost a miracle given from medicine, but it still has a risk of my body not getting back to normal after interrupting it. I also have no idea how I would get a chemical castration in Brazil. I'm not trans and I don't know if I could do elective CC.
Besides, I think I developed a light obsessive thoughts about virginity, which is to say, most of my suffering might be due to my mind, not from excessive libido. In fact, I don't think I ever had a abnormally big libido. If I manage to deal with it, I might not need a CC.
I know I could find someone, but I feel a turbulation of emotions towards the idea of intimacy, specially guilt and shame, but a little of anger. I must study more those subjects.

I still use the testosterone gel to avoid negative side effects of having low testosterone.
Even though I do envy the castrated guys who are still able to get erections and have great orgasms, I at least have fond memories of when I was younger and did the same.

Re: from France impotent
I don't know what sort of services are available to you in Brazil, perhaps someone else does? However I should point out that while most people think of "Trans" as being the term for folks wanting to do a full binary M<->F change, it actually covers ANYONE wanting to change their 'factory equipment' so in fact if you are looking at chemical castration, you ARE "Trans" by definition, at least per SOCv8.... This means that the best route to get chemical castration in most places would be to reach out to whatever sort of Transgender center or clinic there is in your area...Friotler7 wrote: Mon Feb 10, 2025 9:41 pmThanks for the response.WheelyFixed wrote: Mon Feb 10, 2025 3:36 pm Well, one of my strongest bits of advice, is that if you have doubts about doing it, DON'T....

It also sounds like if you feel your problem is as much having obsessive thoughts about your virginity, you might benefit from some sort of therapy or counseling and again I'd suggest a transgender center as a place that can connect you with therapists and support folks that will be supportive rather than thinking you are crazy for having thoughts about seeking castration....
I'm not a doctor or shrink, but based on what you've posted (which obviously is all I know about you) it would seem to me like you aren't really ready to consider any sort of surgery, and probably should look into a fair bit of counseling before even considering chemical castration.
