What a dumbass I am.. You are never a dumbass for asking a question. The only dumb question is the one that you don't ask.

The D&C has to be repeated every few months in order to have lasting effect, I believe.

Periods are horrible and pop up without warning, sometimes bleeding through the clothes and creating embarrassing moments. The ovaries hurt for two weeks out of the month, as does the uterus. And the sexual urges can almost kill ya! Sometimes you wanna shove a broomstick up there.. :-X Som

Plus the ute
rus presses on the bladder during Red River Time and kills ya..

Ouch. I guess you have it worse than the average guy.

A thought: If you got anti-androgens, it might control the sexual urges. I believe testosterone is responsible for sex desire, even in women.

You might also want to check out this link for more information about endometrial ablation: http://www.google.com/search?q=%22endom ... blation%22

If you want to stop/decrease the menstruation, perhaps you can find a doctor somewhere who's willing to do that for you.

I could still go for this... (having a Woman rape me) indeed, mentally it would be very pleasurable. However, I am not sure how my physical body would respond.

Way back in high school a girl was quite forceful with me -- I was afraid. I would not miss that opportunity again -- I can tell you!

Ms. XNoCTuRNaLRoSeX,

As I get to know you, I already know how my body will respond!

Let the experiments begin!

Dear Ms. XNoCTuRNaLRoSeX,

I thought those might be included -- and I'm still okay with that.

If I am to have a mid-life awakening, I might as well go all the way!

Humbly,

I'm a physician. I am empathic toward the"nullity wish" because I, myself, have experienced it as well very strongly, though I am a (sexually) happily married man.

I would like to assist some of the participants in this forum by explaining briefly that physicians are reluctant to approve/assist/participate in nullification primarily because of their fear of their licensing/certification boards which basically also MUST

disapprove of/sanction doctors for the removal of a physically healthy organ! It is THAT simple. The doctors are not worried about being sued, nor are most so rigid as to be stolidly incapable of realizing how vast are the boundaries of human craving.

Doctors are the most scared people on earth. Regardless of what their personal sympathies may be, requisite "professionalism" prevents their open empathy with such causes or they think it would. They as a group can envision the licensing authorities in America swooping down upon them to deprive them of their livelihood if they coöperate or even offer succour. A charge of unprofessionalism before a licensing authority in the United States is pursued by the board as eagerly as if they were the prosecutors: the truth is that they are not only the final judges, but also that they represent the chief prosecutorial impetus. This obvious conflict of interest and rôle is tolerated in "administrative" law of which licensing is a part here in America. Our safeguards as to conflict of interest only apply to the civil & criminal cases. This is a defect in our system which is extremely unlikely to be addressed in anything like the near future.

So, it is not their morality or their fear of malpractice suits that prevents most physicians from helping/supporting OUR causes or concerns, but the simple, common cowardice related to not wishing to take up someone else's cudgel. They feel just going through medical school didn't commit them to solving all the world's problems.

of a physically healthy organ! It is THAT simple. ......Then what can one do to make nullification necessary so that a licensed urologist will willingly remove those things and reroute the urethra?

I guess the real answer to this, is not having healthy organs so they can be removed.
