have a happy thanksgiving
Even if you only take yourself to a movie, have a nice thanksgiving...
... and don't get trampled on Black Friday!

Re: have a happy thanksgiving
I will be going to a full Thanksgiving diner at the VFW post.
Things here are falling into place nicely
May everyone have a enjoyable holiday.
I wish I was flying so I could be gropped by someone feeling my junk.

Re: have a happy thanksgiving
I'll be grilling steaks that have been marinating for the last two days in crushed/chopped fresh garlic, fresh ground black pepper, herbs and a few drizzles of olive oil . I was going to grill some asparagus as well, but all the grocery had were baby spears, too small to ever consider putting on the grill. I'll probably sautee them in the skillet with butter and Herbes d'Provence and a splash of white wine. The neighbors left for the weekend this evening, so I'll probably cook out wearing a full face of makeup for the first time in years.
Be safe and enjoy your holiday, everyone.

Re: have a happy thanksgiving
My crews are cooking 24 turkeys, about 100 lbs mashed potatoes, stuffing sweet potato casserole, Brussel sprouts etc. About 12 hours on my feet. Afterwards, if the streets are passable, I intend to go out, alone, for a burger and a beer for my Thanksgiving Dinner. And believe me I will be thankful that it is over. At least until Christmas.

I'm wishing for you a tremendously delicious burger, and a most wonderful beer!

If it worked by email, I'd be sending Transward a real second beer.
Well done!
Your work that is and not your burger which I hope is as you like it.

Happy T. Happy Everyday. To Everyone.

Liz fixed a ham and invited guests. I liked neither - lol
Fortunately, my neighbor, Frank, invited me over for a turkey dinner - yum
And yes, I saved a turkey leg for my cats

Although I donate to the homeless all year long?
Although I give the mail lady, and the garbage guys twenty dollars every winter?
Although I give winter bonuses to others who 'work for me' like the gardener?
X-mas and the cheer, cheer, cheer,
buy, buy, buy is just so depressing
Even kids no longer look forward to Christmas because they get their new bike whenever they want it. No waiting for a B'day or X-mas. And that's how it is in the 92660.

Still looking forward to January 2, 2011
Of course it doesn't really end there.
After X-mas sales.

at least 1/2/11 offers a breathing spell.
