Yesterday, for the first time in many years, I decided to go swimming at a local YMCA. I entered the male locker room not really thinking about how different I was down below because its been the new normal for me for many years. However, absent minded as I was, I was shocked and stunned by what I saw, huge sacks and balls. I felt totally out of place and waited until almost everyone had left before I put on my trunks. I didn't feel comfortable with these guys and that's when I realized, "I'm not male anymore, not really." I won't sit around a sauna naked (not like I like the heat much anyway) but I'll wear a speedo out on the beach. Not when my coworkers are around or might be, then I wear shorts. There's just enough there that it looks like I might just be really small.

Even with a full "equipment" you can feel uncomfortable : I remember many years ago, I was about 25 and vacationing in Israel with a friend, one fine day we decided to go swimming at the Haifa beach. there were two large rooms, one for females, one for males. I've got my testicle size down to 1/4 of what they were and one does not transmit pain when I compress it with my thumbs. however my penis remains at the full 215mm size that it was before and shows no indication of shrinking when i force it to an erection. There's lots of different reasons why people want to be eunuch. It sounds like your reason is more fetish oriented, i.e. the idea excites you. For others, like most of the posters above, it is more about your self-identification and feelings of where you fit in or belong.

Regarding locker rooms, I'm straight, love being male, have average endowment but very large balls and am in good shape. However, I don't like change rooms at all. To me naked guys are really ugly. Also, I'm suspicious of the guys that linger naked. I know a lot of it is cultural, but for example at my gym there are a lot of Asian guys who will shower and then will dry their hair in the hand dryers on the wall, but they'll do it entirely naked so they are basically bending over naked for several minutes. I really don't like it. And it seems odd to me, even if you're pretty comfortable being naked, that you would not put on a towel, and otherwise minimize being exposed to the sight of naked guys. In particular I'm bothered by the open showers, where my sons will be showering (they keep their swimsuits on) but some old guy will be totally naked at the next shower head and not really hurrying or even trying to be discrete. I really don't see any need to shower nude at the pool -- you can shower with your swimsuit on, then only be nude briefly at your locker while toweling down. I also don't see the need to really do a full shower where you lather up your balls and ass at the gym or pool -- the point of showering there is just to wash off the sweat or chlorine.

Anyway, I feel like I belong in the "male club" but I still want to flee from the locker room!
