I read the initial question carefully and found it ambiguous, the meaning turning on what "full" meant in "full castration." The next several sentences in the question however seemed to have a context that the choice was either/or in nature: choice of either penectomy or bilateral orchiectomy. So I took "full" to mean the equivalent of "bilateral." BME has long regarded removal of the entire package of external genitals as "Nullification", perhaps to resolve confusion over what the term "castration" includes. So I replied accordingly, also heeding the question's clear applicability just to males who didn't want to lose anything but hypothetically would be forced to lose something.
