Five years ago, on this date, I was happily chillaxing in my hotel room in Metro Detroit, keeping it iced and watching Law & Order reruns. It was on that morning that I was sitting in Dr Arnkoff's dentist chair, getting the cathartic relief of seeing the two evil T makers removed. I'll never forget that euphoric feeling of feeling nothing between my legs as I walked out of his office, on my way to Walgreens for the pain meds and to Whole Foods for my chillax food. Two days later, I was back at work, dealing with the chaos of the COVID panic. I was Dr. Arnkoff's last patient before COVID. I continue to be ever-so thankful for having it done just in the nick of time before the lockdowns.
Since then, I have fully transitioned, living fully and legally as a woman, having had numerous other procedures, including a full vaginoplasty. To this day, though, my orchie with Dr. Arnkoff continues to be my most pleasant memory out of all the procedures I've had.
NEW SURVEY – Usefulness of the WPATH Standards of CareA research study from the University of Hawai‘i is now open for participation.
The study explores how the WPATH Standards of Care v8 – Eunuch Chapter has supported individuals in accessing gender-affirming medical or surgical care (e.g., orchiectomy, penectomy, nullification).
Participants are invited to complete a completely anonymous 30-minute survey to share their experience. No personal information is collected.

Congratulations on your happy day anniversary.... Are you planning anything special to celebrate?
I know that on my first, I went out of my way to make a supper out of spherical foods (Meatballs, Brussel Sprouts, Lindorf 'cannonball' chocolates, etc...) Gotta go for that symbolism.

Aww- Thank you.
