Restoration of my foreskin

Post by Cainanite (imported) »

I don't know how much of this will be of any interest to anyone here on the Eunuch Archive. Around here we tend to want to chop stuff off, rather than attempt to grow anything back. But, I'm an odd enough sort, and I'll take the chance that someone here might be odd like me, and be interested nonetheless.

Firstly, I am trying not to be an "inactivist" (the term for anti-circumcision fanatics on the internet). I am simply very unhappy with the job my doctor did on me as an infant, and as a part of trying to become more comfortable in my own skin, I am trying to undo some of the damage he and my parents did to me, and my sex organs.

When I was a few days old (three... apparently) I was circumcised. It was an extreme circumcision to say the least. I suppose it was technically "botched", though in 1974, nobody considered that. They simply took off too much skin, destroyed the frenulum, and a subsequent infection did the rest. The doctors assured my parents that as I grew, so too would the skin of my penis. It did, but just nowhere near enough.

My parents were also told that with enough manual stretching I would regain some of my lost length, and through potty training years this was minimally attempted in an effort to give me enough skin so that I could point my meager equipment. Post potty training, it was abandoned due to the embarrassment doing so gave my mother and father. (Who wants to do THAT to a two year old?)

As many here know, I suffer from low testosterone, and a very low libido. I have often gone weeks or even months without sexually touching myself, and I have never really gained any pleasure from indulging that side of myself.

Okay... some pleasure. Just not so much that it has ever become a "need" for me to feel that release.

Now, many decades later, I have decided it is time to get something back that I have lost.

About two months ago I started something called "Manual Tugging Method 1". If you care to read up on the subject you can do so HERE! (http://www.restoringforeskin.org/public ... g/method-1)

It isn't the best way to restore your foreskin. However at the moment, I am quite limited to this version. Method 2 (http://www.restoringforeskin.org/public ... g-method-2) is much preferred by those in the foreskin restoration forums, but it requires you to be erect while you do it, and I just can't stay erect long enough for it to have any effect. I don't even have as much skin as is shown in the diagram of how to do it.

Of course the best methods for restoration come from wearing a tugging device. You can leave it on for hours, and you get the best, most even results.

Here is the catch: I don't have enough skin on my penis to wear a tugging device. Also, I don't stay erect long enough for the other methods to work for me. So at least until I manage to create enough new skin, I will have to let my fingers do the walking (so to speak). The goal will be to eventually wear the correct device, but that is still a long way off.

Anyhow, on to my progress.

In the last two months, I have managed to stimulate the growth of a small amount of new skin. Most of the new skin has grown between my circumcision scar, and the glans. That is where I have been concentrating my efforts. In a normal uncircumcised penis, this skin is usually the soft, moist skin that is in contact with the glans and would provide natural lubrication. For me, this portion of my penile skin has always been almost invisible. The circumcision scar is the most prominent feature of my member. As I grew, the scar stretched over about a third of my penis, while skin from my scrotum has crept up the underside of the shaft.

Let's face it. My penis is not a "joy to behold."

My two months of manual tugging has given me about a half a centimeter (2/10 of an inch) of new material to work with. This may not sound like a lot, but it has had a startling effect.

My new skin sits quite comfortably, and is just enough to cover the coronal ridge of my penis. For the very first time, my entire glans is not exposed to the wear and tear of my underpants during the day, and has had some time to recover some of its natural sensation. (de-keratinization)

With just this small amount of skin protection on my member I have noticed a marked spike in my sexual sensitivity. For the very first time since early puberty, I can often feel a sort of tingling pleasurable sensation in my pants. It isn't something that is distracting, just a pleasurable accompaniment to my day. And to answer the obvious question; No I'm not getting more erections. It just feels nice, even while I am flaccid.

Here is the biggest news. (Okay, it is a bit personal, but what the hell. I've gone this far already.) Masturbation has become significantly more enjoyable. All my life masturbation has never lived up to the hype. It was... okay, but it was never amazing. Sexual intercourse gave me even less sensation than that. My body seems wired to expect a 10/10 orgasm, but the very best I've ever had to this point was maybe a 1.5 out of 10, to a whopping 2/10 on the Richter Scale. Nothing to write home about.

Since I have developed enough new skin to cover my coronal ridge, masturbation has increased to an unbelievable 3/10 for me. Once again, this might not seem like much to you, but for me, this is a 50 to 100% improvement over what I have ever experienced before. It still isn't hitting what I feel like my body is wired for, but it is vastly better than what I have known.

I've gone from;

I'm bitchy and irritated. Maybe I should masturbate to relieve some built up tension?

to,

I think I might try masturbating, because it feels kinda pleasant.

This is an incredible distinction for me. I am still hampered by the limits of my normal libido (almost none) but now I actually have some real sensation in that useless appendage... Pleasant sensations!

I am also trying to lose a bit of weight. The fat pad on my pelvis isn't helping my progress, and it is time for it to go too. Up until now, I haven't really been concerned by my weight, but now I find it is inhibiting my ability to... um... let's say, "get a good grip." I am doing a lot of physical activity at my new job, and bolstered by my progress, I am making a conscious effort to also eat right and get the right amount of sleep.

I have managed to go from a size 52 waist to a size 46 in the last three months.

I suppose an argument could be made that it is the losing of the weight that is helping my sensitivity, more than the tugging and restoration effort, and there might be some truth to that. However, even when I was a size 30 waist, it NEVER felt this good.

I am not looking to become a sexual stud, and I know I won't regain sexual function I never had, but for once in my life, I would like to overcome something that has been bringing me down my whole life. Foreskin restoration will be a big part of that for me.

If anyone is interested, I might keep posting my progress. Someone here might want to know. If nothing else, sharing this is really cathartic to me.

Thoughts? Comments? Suggestions?

Or, have I already shared too much?

The REAL success story here is that you have gone from a 52 to 46 waist size in 3 months.

Maybe focus on that for now, like maybe work towards 44, then 42 or less (if your bones will allow it)

Then focus on developing an alternative eating style that will keep it off.

It is known that with a lot of body fat around the middle our genitals appear smaller, turtle head like, hiding in there.

I find that trying to deal with two long term issues at the same time can be tiring and almost counter productive .

As far as dealing with genital enhancement, it is something that no longer concerns me.

But I have been there mentally so I do have empathy.

At this point in my life, Having achieved a successful virtual castration via everclear injections into my balls and elimination of testosterone production I no longer have a craving for sexual anything.

Oh, I'm still gay, and i still enjoy the visuals of good looking men in their completeness, but I also enjoy roses, and flowers, and other things i find beautiful.

Not that roses ever "got me off" so to speak, I just still look at men, I just don't look for any to pick.

I finally got rid of nature's curse, the need to constantly get sexual relief and for me at least it transferred my focus from sexual genital relief to more fulfilling and productive alternatives.

Hello Cainanite, First let me say that this is the first time I have replied to any of your posts and I want to say that I always find them of interest. I also have done a little research on foreskin restoration before and will go back and look at the links in your post. I have seen some of the lengthening devices and considered it. The whole subject of infant circumcision came up recently with the birth of a new grandson. When his older brother was born his parents had him circumcised. I expressed my opinion but it is their decision. The Dad had the worst reason ever, he wanted his son to look like him! I understand the reasons for circumcision, easy to clean, less chance of penile cancer, lower risk of transmission of disease. But I've always felt since first understanding that I'm circumcised that someone performed genital modification on me without my permission! When I was 12 or so (in the 1960's) being very uneducated in matters of sex, I had a friend and all we understood was that his penis looked really different from my penis. Since my other friend's penis looked just like mine, my uncut friend must have had the odd penis. Anyway back to my new grandson I am glad to say this time that his parents (different Dad) decided not to get him circumcised. One of the factors this time was that at the hospital they do not mention it anymore, it is something the parents have to ask for! He is the first uncircumcised male in my family in over 63 years, 90 years if you go back to when my Dad was an infant. He's going to be different! (but probably not among his own generation)

I don't post very often, so here is a quick Hello to all, love you guys.

Just a thought, here:

Let's not turn this into another debate on R.I.C., and please keep it on-topic as it relates to restoration and technique.

Thank you.

this is really not applicable to the issue Cainanite is having but you may find it relates. I was circumcised at birth and my glans stayed uncovered. But since I was castrated and basically haven't had a erection in over a year my penis has shrunk and now it looks like I have foreskin again. I know it is not a regrowth but just that the internal parts have shrunk more that the outer skin so my skin now covers my glans. I really like the way I look now, ever though it is quite small.

Cainanite, I had some success with the taped-on tugging devices. When I first started, I didn't have enough skin either. I had to push the body of my penis into itself (which was uncomfortable), to get enough skin to tape to the device. I did eventually get some growth; about 1/2", but it took me well over 2 years.

L-Lysine (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lysine#In_popular_culture) will help in skin growth and recovery. It helps in the production of elastin and collagen, necessary building blocks for skin growth. Note the natural sources in the link.

Also, eat or supplement with Bromelain (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bromelain#Uses), an enzyme found in pineapple, and used extensively by the plastic surgery set to reduce scars, and promote new skin cells.

Another trick is mixing tincture of iodine with plain old sugar. Make a paste and spread it around the old scar-line, cover with gause (roll a condom over it all to keep from staining things). This also promotes new skin growth, and tempers old scars.

Congrats on the weight-loss. Tip; Amp up your probiotics and digestive enzymes. I gather you weren't always 'heavy'? Was it just poor food and lifestyle choices? Consider a yeast treatment too (like this) (http://www.vitacost.com/pure-essence-la ... capsules-1). If you previously had bad food habits, lossing weight might be difficult, even with a good diet now. Past sugar & carbohydrate-loading (fast-food, junk-food) increases yeast growths in the gut; reducing beneficial probiotics that govern what and where food is needed. Your body craves sugar, and stores it for the yeast to feed on. (Yeast is a minor necessary probiotic, considered 'bad' in great numbers). Everyone has yeast. Carbs and sugars are everywhere. It's really hard to avoid them (I know, going glutten-free is a royal pain). If you are going to include carbs in your diet, consider supplementing with amylase (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amylase), or a broad-spectrum digestive enzyme product like this (http://www.vitacost.com/vitacost-mega-spectrum-enzyme).

I was circumcised, but there was a little loose skin left, more on the bottom than on the top. Still, the head of my penis was always exposed. I definitely looked circumcised.

About ten years ago I started tugging on my the little foreskin I had. I didn't use any devices; I just pulled on the skin with my fingers. Now, if my penis is flaccid, only the very tip of it is exposed. The longer foreskin on the bottom extends beyond the end of my penis. Most people seeing me naked would probably not think I had ever been circumcised.

Masturbation is much more pleasurable with an uncircumcised penis. Before, I usually used some type of lubrication when I masturbated. Now, it's not necessary, but I prefer to use a vibrator for that anyway.

I definitely prefer the uncircumcised feel and look for myself.

Sure. I get that. I am not on a rip to see everyone sporting a turtle neck if it isn't their thing. However, you might feel differently about it if your scrotum rode half way up your member because you just had too little skin to work with.

I know my thoughts on this are odd. I would prefer to have no scrotum or balls at all, but I would like my glans politely covered. This isn't about my taking a stance one way or the other on the circumcision debate (If people want to know my feelings they can PM me.) This is about my becoming more comfortable in my own skin.

I doubt anyone but myself and my doctor will even ever see the finished results. It will probably take many years to get things where I want it.

If you like your own member on, off, tattooed, inside out, or backwards, it is your choice. As long as you are happy with yourself then all the power to you.

Bobbie did a tremendous job restoring his. Too bad he won't come back here to share his experience. I know he worked at it and had to be persistent. I wished he would return and tell about it.

I thought I would pop back on this thread to give an update on my restoration progress.

Firstly, I have to say this is a VERY positive experience. I am determined to continue.

Okay, it has been almost three months since I last commented on my progress. In that time, I have probably doubled the available skin I am working with. I am at the beginnings of what some circumcision restoration sites call "the rolling action" of the foreskin. In other words, I'm getting enough skin that I don't have to have a death grip on my member to feel anything down there. There is a tiny bit of slack in an otherwise, tight-as-a-drum area. It makes me even madder about my infant circumcision than I was, now that I am experiencing a small amount of what I should have had since birth. Having some slack in the skin of the penis is absolutely essential for me to feel any pleasure at all.

The skin I have been focusing on is also becoming much more sensitive.

Fair warning: If the thought of a dumpy little man like me, pumping his own member for release disturbs you... leave now!

For the very first time recently I have experienced an amazing wash of sensation in the new skin around the corona of the penis. It was actually much more intense and pleasurable than I have ever experienced from the glans. I would say if my normal orgasm would rate at a 2 out of 10, this almost doubles the experience. 4/10 might still not sound like a lot, but WOW did it surprise me. I am lost for words. But, I'll try.

Imagine your normal orgasm. Got it? Okay. Now imagine that normal orgasm at the same time as getting a foot massage, back rub, and that spot on the inside of the ear that feels really good when you rub it with a Q-Tip, all at the same time. Yeah. That good.

The sensation is NOT an orgasm, but it is a VERY pleasurable sensation that adds to the overall intensity of an orgasm. I will tell you this. The first time I felt it, I curled my toes, and my eyes rolled back.

Next, that small amount of slack has had another benefit. I usually wake in the night when I get an erection. I have never found this normal male habit of the body pleasurable. It has always felt uncomfortable, and often painful.

Lately, there have been far fewer moments of waking in the night with a painful erection. It turns out that if you have enough skin to work with, an erection does not need to be painful or disturbing. What a shocker!

Now on to the actual experience of the restoration itself.

Every night, while I watch TV, I wear comfortable and stretchy pants. When no-one is around, I grab hold of what little I'm left with, and tug. I am careful not to pull so that I feel any pain, but tight enough that there is no slack. I try to maintain tension around the coronal ridge, because it is the inner skin of the foreskin I am mostly trying to grow. Occasionally I will focus on the shaft skin around the base of the penis, but I am concerned about drawing even more pubic skin up the shaft than what is already there.

Just a note, the bottom third of your penis shouldn't be covered in hair. It should be bald all the way down. If it isn't then you don't have enough penile skin. The skin of your pubis has been drawn up to try and recover what your circumcision took from you. That is what happened to me.

Even though I try not to concentrate any tugging around the base of the penis, sometimes I have to. My stated goal right now, is to get enough skin on the sides of my penis so I can "upgrade" to a tugging device. So that I have enough skin, I will need to deal with some extra growth at the base, until I can do it properly.

What I have noticed is, what I am stretching feel like tendons. What they really are, are fibrous tissues of skin not meant for the shaft at all. What I need to do, is to stretch the skin of the shaft, up and away as much as I can, then press down with my other hand to try and loosen those fibrous tissues. This is the only part I would classify as painful, or giving me any level of discomfort. By doing this, I am getting skin on the sides of my penis that are much more motile than before. The fibrous tissue was keeping everything overly tight and uncomfortable. As they stretch and loosen, my comfort level is growing.

The fibrous tissue is located on the top left and right of my penis. It is in the skin, not in the underlying architecture. It feels like two tight cords of leather restricting the motion and softness of the skin. It is skin that should be stretchy and soft, but is instead frustrating the natural function of the penis. Before I started this, it was thick and unyielding. Right now, it is somewhere in-between. It is MUCH better than it was, but I still have a long way to go.

Next, and a serious surprise to me, I seem to have a band of skin or fibrous tissue that encircles the glans. The more I tug and work on this area, the more I feel it. I very much doubt that it is any remnant of the tendons, muscles or frenulum that were ablated off with my foreskin, but this tiny bit of tense material is encouraging me. Maybe if I continue to work at it, I won't need to resort to tightening surgery for that natural tapered look, once I get enough material. The tight band seems to resist outward stretching. Maybe once I get the skin long enough, this tight band will keep the restored skin in place like a natural foreskin would. Maybe not, but it is something I'm hoping for.

The tight band of skin is probably the actual circumcision scar where the two different types of skin healed together. If so, then I am of two minds about it. On the one hand, I don't want my circumcision scar to show once I have completed this process. On the other hand, if I can get it to serve a function, (and no one else ever needs to see my penis.) then it might save me some costly cosmetic surgeries down the road.

The more progress I see and experience, the more I am beginning to wonder if the absolute lack of sexual feeling I have ever had comes more from this botched circumcision, or from my childhood illness that claimed my fertility. It is entirely possible that without the stimulation my brain craved, those sexual neurons simply began to shut down from disuse. I found myself living in a non sexual body, not because my testosterone was low, or because my parts were damaged by fever, but because there simply wasn't the skin or nerve endings that there should have been.

I have always felt that my body should be capable of feeling more than it actually can. My fantasies have been consumed by the thought that sex should feel good. Or, at least a lot better than I have actually felt. I have been able to imagine what a 10/10 orgasm might feel like, but I have never been able to experience it. Now I am getting closer to it, and as I progress on my circumcision restoration, my body is beginning to respond. I am starting to feel the sensations that previously I could only dream about.

Will I become a more sexual being as my body becomes more and more capable of processing those sensations? I don't know, but it is somewhat concerning. I have accepted myself as non-sexual for so long, that I don't know if I can adapt. I do hope that I can adapt. I already know what living as a eunuch feels like. Maybe I would also enjoy what everyone else feels like. Maybe I don't have to dream about having my balls off to stop unwanted (and painful) erections. Maybe I can actually enjoy myself as a whole person.

But, no.

I still wish I could have my balls off. Actually, my restoration progress had made that wish a lot stronger. As my scrotum rides about half way up my penile shaft, it makes stretching the skin rather difficult. When I want to stretch the shaft skin, I invariably pull up my scrotum too. The underside of my penis has proven the most difficult to stretch comfortably.

When I masturbate, I end up grabbing about half of my scrotum, just so that I can match the sliding action on the underside of my penis with the top side. My testicles actually get in the way. It would be much easier, and more satisfying if those annoying blobs of gristle, along with their offending pouch were simply not present.

I think I have updated my fantasy to wanting my balls off, my foreskin back, and I would go on a low dose of TRT to keep myself about where I chemically am now.

I am getting very close to being able to fit a device, and have begun to look for the best solution. So far, the best thing for me seems to be making my own from an old trumpet mouthpiece, and some fabric elastic. The design seems simple enough, and I could make it rather easily. I just wonder if they make the mouthpiece small enough for me. Some of the devices I've seen appear far too big for what I am endowed with.

I wonder if the music shop I'll buy the mouthpiece at will have a fitting room. 😄

I have also been warned that people can get very discouraged at a certain point during their restoration. For the first while the changes can seem dramatic and overwhelming. After a point, the progress slows, and it is just millimeter by millimeter growth. Almost nothing to show for all that effort. A lot of people can get frustrated at that point.

I'm going to need something to keep me from hitting that wall.

Sounds like you have one of those "let's amputate half this infants penis " circumcisions. My adopted son was the victim of just such a circumcision. At 15 as his penis tried to grow it ran out of skin. His erections were so painful , that he asked me if we could just have his penis removed. I took him to a surgeon who did a "release" where they cut him again at the point of the circ scar.his penis grew 1/2 inch overnight. That helped the pain for almost a year , and then it had to be done again. Sadly this increased the amout of scarring, and numbness on his penis. It still did not help the curve he developed from the uneven nature of his brutal circumcision.

For him sadly even with the two releases he still has no free and mobile skin, and the increased scar tissue makes even masturbation to orgasm a chore. As a result at 32 he has pretty much given up on sex. He looked into restoration, and even consulted a surgeon about possible cures, but he is so badly cut that there is nothing to stretch. He even consulted about using part of the scrotum to add skin to the base of his penis.

I am glad that you are having some success, and based on several guys I know, am confident that you will see a vast improvement over time. One recommendation based on a friends efforts is that you begin as soon as possible taping the outer skin over the glans during the day when you are not likely to have erections. this begins to train it to go where it has not been before. As the stretching continuues you will be able to use a restoration device, and then the gains will be surprisingly fast. My friend started out very tight cut, and now has as much as if not more coverage than I do , and I am uncut. It took him three years. He says that he had no idea what he was missing until it was a completed project, and even has a picture of the doctor who circumcised him mounted as a dartboard. LOL

Good luck and continued success with your endeavor.

Yes, it sounds similar. I have not sought surgery to correct the issue though. I have very little regard for medical doctors, and that has not improved over time. I am sorry for your son and his issues. I very much know where he is at, mentally at least. At a certain point you just give up on sex as too much trouble for too little reward.

If I had a picture of the doctor who did my circumcision I would do more than use his image on a dart board. If I knew his identity at all I don't know what I would do. I fear if I knew his identity that I might kill him. What really worries me is that I don't think that I would feel bad about it.

Recently I had a conversation with my parents about my circumcision. I asked them if they knew the name of the doctor who did it. They told me they didn't know, but I saw that they were upset/worried about it. They may not have told me his name because they actually do know what I would do to him. If they do know his name, and he is still alive then it is probably best that I never learn it.

As a side note, my conversation with my parents led to them choosing not to talk to me for about a month and a half. They only got back in touch with me when my father's health began to fail him. I wonder if that hadn't happened, if they ever would have called me back.

I really want to have a longer conversation about it in the future but I fear that our relationship would end there, or simply never recover. I still have questions, but I suspect I will not like the answers. I am sure that is why they refused to talk to me until they absolutely had to.

Maybe one day I will have the answers... But not today.

You would think that there could be a "pairing" of people in need.

Somewhere someone is going through a M-F sex change.

Even if blood type is a consideration, it seems like there could be a pairing of people who are getting rid of penile skin with people who need penile skin.

It would seem that adding skin, no matter where it is added, is going to sever nerves and temporarily or permanently eliminate penis skin sensitivity.

That could be a major drawback. Or, perhaps nerve endings would regrow and reconnect and sensitivity would return.

There has got to be a better solution to this real genuine problem.

My foreskin removal was almost too much. It wound up being OK, but I sure wish it had never been done.

This is one thing that parents should never do to a boy.

If later in life the adult wants it done, it can be done.

But to do it to a child, is just hideous.

Can understand hate for the doctor who slashed-n-dashed; but it was the parents who asked for the procedure . . .

Trombone mouthpieces are expensive (but about half the price for a manufactured 'Tugger (http://www.foreskinrestoration.info/pud.htm)'). I found one at the flea market for $25, but it was too big for 'me'.

I wanted 'my' specific size, so I made my own tugger device with silver base (common soldering wire). Carved the device in wax, set wax in plaster, melt wax, fill plaster with melted silver base (lost wax process). I carved it to look like a penis glans under clothing - and I can urinate through it without removing tape all day.

Note my previous post;

I bought the L-lysine off the shelf at Wal-mart pharmacy. It does speed up growth at stress-points (like your tugged area - or incisions).

Should clarify the Iodine needs to be 'SSKI Iodine' (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Potassium_iodide), or "saturated solution of potassium iodide"; not the stuff you put on cuts. ("Library of Food and Vitamin Cures (http://wrightnewsletter.net/video/NAH/e ... &r=MC&g=10)" - Jonathan Wright, M.D.)

The Bromelain needs to be coated tablets, so they will not digest in the stomach. ("Natural Health Sherpa (http://naturalhealthsherpa.com/author/admin)")

Hooray for your gains, Wish you luck in your complete recovery.
