I've still got the gun. However, Paolo took the light sabre home with him last year... It will be such a one-sided fight.

The cow was sacrificed it was a great offering, complete with a couple pies.

All had a great time for the Thursday event, NOW for Friday

In the morning several brave souls are going to go to the state fair, Wine and Cheese party at 5pm at the mother ship, I and a couple others will be arriving at the mother ship about 3ish.

See you there.

Any of the brave souls at the Mothership need to get a hold of me or Jesus in the AM, or Krister, to arrange going to the fair. Just a reminder, in case Gem forgets to tell them!

There was just so much to see and do at the state fair that we didn't get to hardly any of it.

Cainanite got himself a cool hat. If you have watched the animated version "Avatar: The last Airbender, Season 2", you know the hat Aang wore in the Earth Kingdom to his his arrow. Cainanite was the Avatar today, but hey, no sunburn!

Me, my foot is sore (stepped on a rusty nail 2 days before coming here), but OK. I got a touch of sunburn.

We ate ourselves silly. Huge slabs of bacon on sticks. With chocolate sauce. Lamb on a stick. Much "Holy Land" food. Ice cream. Etc. etc. It's a diabetics' nightmare. So much cool stuff to see. Pity we couldn't stay longer.

Wish you were here to see Talula's awesome new lamp.

Then there was dinner down at the wharf,

Most had cod in an all you can eat, One plate was all anybody could eat, not that it was bad it was the best fish and chips you have ever had.

I on the other hand had a Ship Wreck, that is a 1/2 lb hamburger with bacon with cheese onion ring and a fried egg on top with a pretzel bun, with a side of onion rings that were the best ever.

Pictures will be posted of both meals.

Although I have attended MoMs since 2008, today was the very first time I made it for River's World Famous Pancake Breakfast. The food was terrific, but I really wasn't surprised because I have had River's world famous French toast!

It was great to see old friends and meet some new ones, too. It was an extremely relaxing time.

There is a new record for the number of Pancakes eaten at a MOM event, the old record set by Kristoff was 18 set last year, the new record is 20 of course he did not eat the rest of the day.

The cake was great, At the restaurant Friday night Talula ordered some carrot cake for desert, he took a bite and told his room mate here try this its the best, so Gem took a bite then passed it to Paolo, who had a bite and passed it to Jesus who passed it to me who passed it ........ by the time it got back to Talula there was only one bite left, he looked so sad with only this one small piece of cake left, so he cut it in half scooped it up on his fork where it fell in his lap and hit the floor.

Today among other things Talula asked me to whip together a couple Apple pies, yes they were wonderful.

River

We bought the rest of the cake to take home, I never got a piece of it, it was gone in no time.

It was my first MoM and I had a great time. Thank you all for making me feel welcome. It was cool connecting real live people to the avatars & screen names.

The MOM this year was one of the best ever, we meet some new people ate some great food had a wonderful time.

But the worst thing about it is that its over, the time slipped by to fast as usual, everybody waited tell the last second to leave but the best thing is we made some new friends.
