At what age were you aware of castration?

Post by zipoid67 (imported) »

I never really thought about castration until the summer I turned fourteen.

Dad worked on the Interstate highway construction boom, so we moved a lot, and the year I turned fourteen we moved into a house next to a farm.

The farmer had three sons: big and burley seventeen and eighteen year old John and Tom were standoffish towards me and gave their eleven year old brother Richard a lot of crap, but I kind of liked the little guy. He showed me all his favorite places, including the pond where they sometimes swam. He could go there any time he wanted but he couldn't get in the water unless someone else was with him. It was hot that day, so he shed his clothes and waded in, just like he did with his brothers, and after some cajoling I joined him. We splashed around for a while and got out to dry.

He was still a prepubescent kid but I was a fully feathered Man, sort of, anyway, and he had some Man questions he wasn't comfortable asking his dad or brothers. I told him what little I knew and just talking about it gave me a boner, and that inspired him to ask about masturbation. He'd heard his brothers talking about beating off and he knew it had something to do with sex but didn't know what, so I gave a demonstration by tossing one off into the grass.

He must have professed some of his new education to his brothers, because the next time we went to the pond they followed us. They had the elastrator tool used to castrate calves with them and they held me down while Richard, threatened with a beating, put the band on my nutsack. I couldn't get it off with my fingers and in the fifteen minutes it took to get home and find the nail trimmers my balls had turned dark red and were getting cold and hurt like a bitch and I was sure I'd been castrated.

Later that year some other kids joked about turning each other into steers. I laughed along with them, not willing to talk about the near miss that had scared the shit out of me.

We moved again in two years, and for the first time ever I was glad to be changing schools.

I was aware of it at 14. During a sort of joke between boys like the one of the kids you saw.

I can't recall when I first became aware of it, but I know I started to become interested in it when I was 16.

I can remember wanting to have my "junk" gone at age four. I didn't know about castration as a means until I was about 10. On the farm no less.

I remember wanting them gone at about age 8. I didn't know what castration was until about age 10 when I saw bull calves getting cut on my grandparents' farm. If I had been offered castration then I would have gotten right in line with bulls. When I hit puberty a couple years later, castration became erotic and I began focusing on it more and more. This desire has only gotten stronger over the years, and the balls still don't feel like they belong. Castration almost feels like an internal calling of sorts.

For me I was always aware of the idea of not having testicles. Having been born with undescended ones that remained that way til I was 16 , I grew quite comfortable with the body I was given. I even sometimes felt pity on other biys i saw who were developing a pair of low hangers. I was grateful that i didn't have these particular appendages.

When they did appear , that created a serious mental trauma for me, and I only wanted them gone, and to be back to who/what I was before. That sadly was not to be at that point, but thankfully they returned to the inguinal canals when I was around 24 never to be seen hanging again. Some people don't get it , but once I was truly and fully aware that a "real" eunuch did not have testicles and that castration was the means to reach that state nothing but actually getting rid of them would be enough. They caused me many years of pain and discomfort physically , and all the while I was infertile and totally dependant on testosterone supplements.

As many here know well, getting the medical community to remove even non-functional and or dieseased testicles is a challenge. Male urologists cringe at the idea, and until fairly recently female urologists were few and far between. Finding a skilled non-medical person who you would have faith in doing the job properly is even more of a challenge.

Finally succeeding with a medical professional doing the job presented a great relief to me. Even with them long not visible, just knowing that they were lurking in there made me very uneasy. I felt deformed. My mind is set up to be a non-binary gender and my body did not match it. Now that I am a eunuch , I feel complete, odd I know since to get that feeling something was removed.

There are many who try to label individuals like me, but i don't particularly subscribe to any of them.

Not so easy to say. Raised on a farm, I must have been aware of castrated animals, inc the cat but felt the practice an unwelcome but for some animals a necessary part of farming. -Not something you'd wish on anyone.

Later in adult life, medical troubles caused the loss of one and then the other testicle and a feeling of important loss. The replacement T initially worked well to maintain some sense of functional "normality", until a visit to China found me with inactive Japanese depot T. The changes took a few weeks to develop, complete with flashes and all. That's when I first felt how it is to be a t-less eunuch. Another period of adjustment followed and soon it became a welcome change. Since then, i've actually come to enjoy ending up as a eunuch. I feel able to regulate where I wish to be on the M <-> E range, and life is good.

I remember seeing pigs castrated. Being held against their will as their balls were removed. Crying out, then balless put down and watching other pigs eat the ballls. I left with an immense hard on

My answer has two parts: At age 11, in an incidental way, with respect to "fixing" tomcats and gelding of horses, done for behavior modification and birth control. And at age 26, in a fascinating, erotically impacting way, with respect to castration of human males for those reasons plus to punish or humiliate them, or to make them into eunuchs as a commodity of value. The topic became a fetish interest pursued ever since.

This human castration awareness began with a chance reading one evening in late 1969 of a paperback copy of a pseudo-documentary on sex and sexual anatomy practices over recent centuries in North Africa and the whole Middle East, plus India, China, and Japan. This book was Cradle of Erotica by R.E.L. Masters, discovered in the deserted lounge of the transient Navy BOQ at the by-then little-used Army and Navy base at Dong Tam in Vietnam, SW of Saigon. I stayed up late reading this intensely arousing text, which catered amazingly well to all my existing genital condition and modification fetishes plus awakening several latent ones which took several more years to fully flower, including fancying myself someday parting with my own testicles and scrotum - for the looks and symbolism rather than to live as an androgen-free eunuch.

Both testicles-only castrations and penis-plus-testicles removals were covered in this book. Intentional making of child and adult eunuchs as servants for sale or as trusted administrative assistants was part of the lore. This was my first encounter with info on cultural customs-encouraged genital modification — all sorts of them, done for both sexual enhancement and sexual deprivation — beyond mere male circumcision. It covered sexual practices and sexual anatomy in both genetic and culturally modified variations, including genital shaving, male and female circumcision including removal of clitoris and small labia, plus castration of boys and men to create eunuch servants and also as triumphant abuse of captives after battles. Of the latter, an example:

[during the 1919-26 revolts in Morocco] "the fanatic Riffs, Berbers, and Kabyles castrated every French and Spanish soldier, wounded or dead, whom they found uncircumcised."

Once "back in the world" and out of naval service, I promptly bought a copy of my own, in hard cover, and have pursued the topic ever since, eventually discovering BME, EA stories and this forum.

My first exposure to it was probably in an episode of Ren & Stimpy; I didn't quite know what "Mr. Neuter and Mrs. Spay!" were at the time, however, and it would be a while until this crossed my mind again. This time, I was exposed through the furry fandom; in 9th or 10th grade, I discovered that there happened to be porn of it, and went exploring.

Well, I found the art of a guy who went by Salamander back then, and Kouei now. In fact, he's re-hosted the pictures in question, both of a young dragon losing a set and - clearly - enjoying it, and afterwords, healed up, clearly no worse for the wear. (Links are removed, as "banned site" appeared in my post - PM me if you're curious)

I was simultaneously horrified and aroused at the prospect.

I had no plans to have myself so modified, but recently Dexter and Lefty have decided that they're going to start paining me. NSAIDS aren't doing anything, and antibiotics aren't either. I know there's a flowchart for diagnosing orchalgia, and I know where it leads. At some point, I'm going to have to decide which I prefer - pain in the pair at random intervals, or a pain in the ass every week for hormone injections (or every six months, if I go for implants). This has sorta brought the idea back to the front of my mind, and ... apparently, it's been gestating back there, and I'm no longer horrified by the thought.

I knew that testicles can be cut off, at age 11. Then at 15 I learned that castrations actually had been done in history and ballless men really existed. Since then i have been thinking about becoming one.

I've been aware of it as far back as I can remember I just didn't know the name for it. When I first heard of castration (other boys making nervious jokes about it at the age of about 10 or 11) I wasn't at all surprised. I always figured it had been going on for some time.

Oh shit!

Maybe since I was a teenager. I didn't think about it much, though. Too busy playing with the damned things... I guess... 🤷

I was aware of castration 2 years ago, I was 24. But I remember tying my testicles when I was 20 or 21, but never knew it could castrate me. Only did it because I wanted to stop masturbating too frequently. Thought testicles were only for sperms production, until I became aware about the Testosterone effect.

I grew up with farm animals. around 8 years old when cutting bulls and banding sheep with my dad and uncle, I asked why and was told so they can't make babies. I later found the elastrator in the tack shed, banded myself and showed my little sister and told her I wasn't going to have babies, my parents were less than pleased, I was taken to a shrink and the elastrator dissapeared.

I was ten or eleven when that same uncle and his sons went on a "hunting trip" and came back sterile. I learned what a vasectomy was then.

My father and I never experienced castration or vasectomy.

As I neared puberty I became aware that I was not very good at being a boy. The only other option I knew was being a girl. I was in my early 20's when I first read a story about a young man having his testicles removed. Wow did that idea cause fear and excitement.

I was uncomfortable with all of the pubertal changes about the age of 11. Didn't like what was happening. Started to realize that my nuts didn't belong where they were. But I could not name what I felt, nor even identify it as castration until much later. Even after I started banding and tying things off in my teens and twenties, I never made the connection. Must have been too sheltered - knew the word, just didn't realize that it applied to me.

I went to a primary school in a farming community. I was 8 years old and knew the farmers tied rubber bands on the sheep to 'make their balls drop off'. The boys liked to joke about it but I was intrigued. I got a normal rubber band and banded my little right foot toe before bedtime. Sometime during the night, my whole foot pained like hell and I took the band off. I did this a couple of times because I wanted to see how my toe drop off.

One evening before bedtime, I tied the rubber band around my very small child penis. I never like that thing anyway. I also figured with no bone inside there, it might drop off much easier. Same story...I hardly fell asleep and pain shot up my abdomen. I remember feeling so sorry for those sheep being banded and they can do nothing about removing those bands. Even their tails were removed.

In high school, one of my classmates was extremely overweight. I asked him on occasion the reason for it and he informed me that the doctors removed his balls. He was 13 years old. I remember pitying him very much for his misfortune and never thought I would do the same 30 years later to myself.

I just realized I did not start banding my penis a few years ago, but actually banded my penis at the age of 8!! Never thought it would become culture.

I hated puberty from the moment I started going through it. I hated the body hair and deep voice although the erections, sexual thoughts and orgasms were great. I also hated when girls I knew went through puberty. It seemed like they transformed from such sweet innocent things into miserable manipulative bitches. I always preferred the smooth look of female pubes over having all that junk hanging there and had wished that I was born a girl many times. Heck, they had nicer cloths (especially skirts, panties and bikini bathing suits), nicer hair, smooth skin and shapely bodies. The one thing that changed my mind quickly though was thinking about having to put up with the monthly periods!

I learned of castration around age 10 which is when I started puberty and by age 11 my sex drive was in full effect and from that point until I was castrated I dreamed of going back to pre-puberty and having no sex drive
